    Honestly, I'm shocked about the response. I thought people would be more for it, especially considering the amount of people loopholing. Few posters have mentioned "Tough Luck" " Luck of the draw" "No second chances" etc, however loopholing is exactly this, a second chance.


    (Don't want to turn this into a conversation about loopholing, just saying it's strange people think loopholing is fine, but not a "second chance" for your captain")

    Id say the same people that responded to you would say looping should NOT be a part of the game either. I cant stand the fact that its there for people to use.

    Peachy and Albert kelly had about a dozen brain snaps between them in the second half. Also, if Don pockets the short kick he almost goes over untouched.

    The middle forwards was not the issue for the titans. Outside backs had stinkers.

    Haha, but its a different question in my mind:

    Do I like the idea of your captains rule? Not really
    Would I use it if it were part of the game? 100%

    Similar for looping: Hate it tbh, but will use it if the opportunity presents itself!

    EDIT: sorry that read a bit harsh initially. change the wording a bit.

    Doing the Magic Round shuffle

    Looky Looky it’s Cookie bounced back from a few tough weeks with a score of 906 in Round 8 which brought my rank back up some 3000 places.

    After chatting to a few people, I have once again chosen to save some trades and have just reshuffled my team with Chanel Harris-Tavita making room for Kodi Nikorima at the Warriors.

    Kalyn Ponga moves into my halves for Harris-Tavita and I swapped in Reuben Garrick into Kalyn’s WFB spot.

    The other option for the spot was Mikaele Ravalawa but Garrick’s ability to kick goals was the deciding factor on why I chose him.

    With a few extra trades up my sleeve I will begin to look ahead to the bye rounds and try and best manage my roster to maximise scoring through those rounds.

    From what people tell me it is quite hard to navigate so if you have any tips, I’d love to hear them!

    I hope everyone is excited for Magic Round, it should be a huge weekend of footy! Good luck this weekend and if you have me in a head to head league, go easy on me

    Milch put up the percentage of captains options last night. How many had Fifta again? Forum team had Smith so thats a plus Smile

    Not really fantasy related but its quite interesting there is no real correlation to table position and players used this year. Obviously can't help some through injury (i.e Roosters).

    EDIT: You'd think the teams using less players will more than likely be near the top come end of year as they all start gelling together.

    I jumped about 1200 players last night. Mostly probably due to Fifi captain.

    It is probably more than that for serious players, the overall percentages would be largely skewed by casuals

    I always cringe at the Damien cook fantasy posts. feels to me like he doesnt play, has someone running his team and writing these articles for him

    As RnT said, a lot of us would prefer it if the loophole was removed. But given that it exists, we use it to the best of our ability.

    Loophole exists because of rolling lockout which is great. I wish they'd introduce in EPL fantasy as well as managers required to publish team lists. Some arbitrary minute C injury window seems absurd tbh
