Looking at those numbers, comparing how each players percentage change each week, you can get a fair idea of the percentage of people who create a team and don't touch it after round 1. The percentages all hover around the same initial figure, only moving a couple of percent either way.

Jack Murchie posted a pic on social media of his arm in a cast.

Raiders training in Brisbane on Saturdya is a closed session apparently, no public allowed.

It's hard to pin down exactly how many people are active on their team. There's a lot of people who deliberately set and forget a captain all year.

But look at Jake Friend - high captaincy for the first 3 weeks. Although he didn't play in round 2, he was named in the initial team, and coming off a 90+ score it's not surprising his captaincy went up (can't remember if he pulled out before or after lockout)

After getting injured again in round 3 his captaincy plummeted
But he is still captain of around 0.7% of teams.

Friend ownership has dropped from over 9000 to about 3500, so almost 2/3rd of owners have ditched him. Is that reflective of general teams and how many are actively trading?

Taumalolo still had 1.5% captaincy in round 5 when he hadn't been playing for weeks.

Smarter to just pick up Taumalolo now and reasses these cows after a week? I can’t afford a dud atm. It’s not like his BE is ludicrously high.

Bateman to lolo? Hold Garner for now and sell for a cow next week

While we are at it - HPSNZ advertising for a data analyst position. They could do worse than a few jokers on here. In all seriousness, PM me if you are interested.

At a guess this job pays less, and is in a different city to mtb.

When NRLStats used to advertise every year for stats collectors it was paying jack all, and expecting you to work past midnight on weekends.

I imagine this pays better than that, but without even knowing what mtb does now, this job would be a step down (but if you really loved fantasy might be a fun job, although you'd become ineligible for prizes)

Almost applied for a kayo test role but this was pretty much the reason I didn't. Not because it's a step down from what I'm currently doing... 😑 But from what I should be. Still, thought crossed my mind because its something that interests me.

The pay is comparable, going off the job ad (though tbh i don't have the qualifications or range of experience), though yeah, its in Melbourne.

Devs make pretty good coin these days.

Interesting that Cook went Niko. Was very tempted myself but ultimately the fact that even a big score won't see him rise much meant it wasn't a priority. Definitely one to watch though, maybe even next weeks trade. Extra points from kicking you'd think and he was one of the options for Goal kicking too wasn't he? Could see him getting 5-8 points extra from that alone. If he thrives with green as a partner could see him being a 10-12 point better scorer which would put him potentially as a pod keeper. Maybe. All big ifs though

Noone ever has the full range of experience most jobs ask for do they? Just highlight your strengths and make the rest up as you go.

Agree. Your resume is your site. Your understanding of the requirements are beyond what anyone else applying can demonstrate.

The hardest thing when hiring developers is to find the right person that gets what the end user needs. You have that in spades. Technical skills can be developed on the job, the mindset, understanding and passion for the role aren't things you learn. Even things like active participation in forums like this should count heavily in your favour.
