Time to start brushing up on your VB? I never knew you were a dev, why are you so nice (to others, not me) then?
I just fired up the Amiga500 and am using AutoCAD to draw boobies to shake off the rust.

And I love you dude! You can’t choose where you were born mate. Poor basted.

Toovey.. moneyball style team with his accounting background
Hasler.. probably quietly win the comp (I recall a story from Willie Mason on potentially signing with the Dogs, and Hasler pulling out a massive folder of stats and stating Aiden Tolman was the best prop in the game)
Can you imagine a team run by Smith or Cronk Shocked Beating Heart wouldn't mind seeing what Ennis could do either.

Team doing shit this year but hey I didn't captain Fifita. 289/6 Arrow Captain so not the best start still with Fifita 11 and Xerri 30 (Nikora robbed him of a 15+ point play)!

Anyway been looking forward to the byes this year and was just trying to get a gauge on the teams that are effected the most by origin. Looking at forwards as they pick up more minutes potentially (and not just the bye rounds).

    Dragons

Blake Lawrie - might keep him during the bye period due to TSims, Frizell and Vaughan all playing origin even though he doesn't play round 12.
L leilua - could start some games during this period hopefully so could be a good round 13 pickup depending on TSims/Frizell/Host situation.

While we are on the Dragons McInnes would be a decent round 13 pickup.

    Titans

Fotuaika could pick up some slack with Arrow and JWallace potentially on duty and potentially rested - risky.

Might mention Ash Taylor could be worth the price.

    Panthers

Leota or Sele but not sure on Tamou/RCG Origin prospects.

    Jerome Luai?

    Round 13 pickups

Matterson, Twal, Farah, RTS, Smith, McInnes, I Papali'i

Great post Mike. Have always had Lawrie on my trade out list leading into the first bye, but this has me re-thinking it. The problem is finding players you want to trade out to get the guys like Lolo in.

Agree. Your resume is your site. Your understanding of the requirements are beyond what anyone else applying can demonstrate.

The hardest thing when hiring developers is to find the right person that gets what the end user needs. You have that in spades. Technical skills can be developed on the job, the mindset, understanding and passion for the role aren't things you learn. Even things like active participation in forums like this should count heavily in your favour.

Cleary's last 2 scores against the Tigers are 32 and 37.

People used this same logic to ditch Fifita as captain yesterday.

I fear not, as a Cleary owner I urge him on to a heroic fantasy score in a losing panthers team.

Brennan.. would fuck up his bench. just completely fuck up a loop. Have Cook in his EMGs the day he busts out an 80

Bellyache will be like Milf, throwing things at his team to make them perform better Very Happy

    via NRL.com (Steve Renouf)

"If Wayne Bennett was coaching the 2019 Brisbane Broncos I am convinced he would take them to the grand final.

I had conversations with Wayne before he was told to leave the Broncos and in one of those chats he told me that he really believed he could take this team to the decider this year."

This is bloody ridiculous. As if as head coach you wouldn't believe your team could make it to the grand final. That is a ridiculous statement.

Well the Sege news makes the Garner news better. It's weird how Fantasy comes in a full circle sometimes. Originally was trading in Arey and Turpin. Garner news arose so went Garner to Tolo instead. Now Sege apparently signs with Broncos and Turpin is a no go.

Wow, seggy would change the Broncos quite a bit, he's also qld eligible unless I'm mistaken... Maybe a sege hunt combo could be on the cards if he comes back in form?

I think Sege could be good for Broncos. They don't really have that threat from that position. Always playing through the first/second receiver. Sege would add the burst of energy when the game is in a slump. Not sure why he was so out of favour, his last couple years at sharks were actually really good. Probably couldn't play the 80 but is massive in his little 25 minutes stints.

I think Sege would've taken a year of free haircuts to play in the NRL again.
