Certainty - Rabbitohs. Raiders injury toll is not looking too good. Rabbits should eat it up.
Upset - Broncos. Now not many may think this is an upset but Broncos are so Jekyll and Hide and Roosters are just all class. 11th v 1st so yeah it would be an upset for Broncos to win.
Smokey Captain (Fantasy) - Haas. Will need to muscle up against Roosters pack and could be the man to get the Broncos on the front foot.

Bulldogs in a tight one. Napa to go off for HIA so they get a free interchange then return in the 2nd half.

Im not so worried about the trades, but its the reward from them. You should be able to net $150k and 30-40 extra round 12 points from a trade at the moment. Will trading Fifita in and out net you the same? Perhaps, but you are banking on injury guess work, where as other options are much more in your hands.

I totally understand the concern and it may (most likely) bite me on the ass. But to me young and Martin and 935k is going to score me more points than Fifita and bird until round 14 again I may not bring him back in I may aim for another gun because I’m happy with Twal and Haas for now and that money spent might go towards getting Cook abd DCE after origin.

It’s a very real possibility Young and Fifita can both score 40s this week.

and if I’m wrong you’re all welcome to laugh at me cause I’ll probably deserve it

Haha I’m rolling the dice and making Haas my Captain this week for pretty much the exact same reason you gave!

Certainty - I think the storm will give it to the tigers and keep the momentum going. Tigers were good last week but the panthers were awful

I really like the Haas captaincy. COuld easily put up 90 points if he adds a few T/TA stats to his monstrous base.

But Ponga looks the goods, and Dragons really don't. He could have serious fun against their changing-at-random backline.

Yep! Thank God for small mercies-the holes in the sides from my dot matrix printer literally remove the hardest step in the binding procedure. It used to be such a chore with the hole punch.

Those that have traded out bateman and thinking of fifita will be interesting to see if both will be brought back in, if so that's potentially 6 trades?

1 trades out, 2 trades in for each player unless you're super cashed up in the bank. I'm saying 2 trades to get them back in because of the the cash out options are near bottom dollar, unless your have some middies to upgrade?

@british1987 Are you playing for overall? It's not the best time to be bringing in 2 origin players if you are.

Are you seriously considering dumping Fifita?

I've seen a few guns touted as trade outs this year, and some people who have actually followed through. Im not sure how that has worked out. Cook was one, Arrow another, heck even Murray's name was thrown around a few rounds back. I've seen Teddy's name out there as well.

No doubt every now and then someone gets a little lucky, but I really dont see the logic here, well not enough anyway. Fifita played half the season with niggly injuries last year and he gunned it. Chances are he does the same. Just remember he's the third tanked FRF at the moment and top 10 active players overall.

I feel pretty nuts in doing it, but I'm definitely thinking of dumping Fifita and bringing him back in between Rd12-17. I've done up a loose plan for my team from now to where I want to get it after origin.

For me, trading Fifita out allows me to bring in Cook now rather than later (would probably have been after Rd12 for a round 12 player). It costs me 1 extra trade, gets me Cook ~$50k cheaper than I would if I buy him in a month's time and gets me Fifita back ~$50k cheaper than I sell him for. I also get the extra points from (C)ook over the next few weeks, say 10-20 points extra per week over 3 weeks.

So the cash savings are not really sufficient to justify the trade on their own, the cash benefit plus the points benefit over 3-4 weeks before I bring Fifita back are pretty close to worthwhile for the cost of one extra trade.
