Well I guess I don't know. Teddy scored well at the Tigers because they generally had one play - "give it to teddy".

I guess my point was more, RTS at the warriors is going to have quiet games, because the Warriors are likely going to struggle at times.

They'll probably average close to the same come end of season anyway. Right now, I'd back Tedesco to be the better pick, but if their teams were reversed, then I'd probably back RTS.

Actually that's an interesting situation if RTS played for the Roosters & Tedesco played for the Warriors. I suppose RTS would trump Tedesco because the Roosters create so many attacking opportunities but it's pretty close because hey it's Tedesco. I honestly think it wouldn't matter what club Tedesco played for because he'd gun it regardless.

I'm an RTS owner and I don't fully trust his hammy since its one of those injuries that can play up pretty easily. There's a chance he could be randomly rested again eg. vs storm on anzac day

Anyone else thinking of dumping Taupau after rd12? He's not getting the usual 50+ mins like last season and not offloading as much either.

I'm considering bringing him in this week. Its not a trade I am super confident about, but regardless of minutes, he can still bust out big scores.

I think I'd rather have him for rnd 12, than not have him...?

I am potentially thinking too much about round 12. I could just get Jake Trbo instead..

Are people really making trade decisions based on how heartwarming a video is? Gallen is the biggest dick in league but you wouldn't have been without him a few years ago.

I'm also considering Taupau this week because A. Fifita is in doubt even though all indications are that he will play but also because my frf backup is Lawrie & K. Sims is back so unless Sims goes into the frf rotation his return is not good for Lawrie. The Daily Telegarph late mail says if Sims comes in he'll replace Host or Leilua on the bench & since they're backrowers it won't be good for Lawriie's minutes.

I'm looking at having Ponga RTS and Teddy as the 3 keeper WFB. With Bateman and Nikora as the CTRs. With Burns as cover for both positions.
I like Tturbo but he's an injury risk. I may bring him in near the end of the season if I need a hail Mary.
In any case, getting Teddy is more urgent than RTS if you don't have either of them

The thread 51 page 51 party will be epic in a couple of weeks. Did we make it to thread 51 last year. This year the threads are moving fast. There's a lot of really knowledgeable new posters that have joined the fanatics family this year & they are all posting some great stuff.

Also the result of court hearing for JDB is tomorrow (can't be included in team because not named but could be next week if pronounced innocent). Next week I'll probably do Xerri + Lawrie to Martin + Taupau which will leave me with 10 players for R12 (11 if ARey isn't named in Origin, excluding Murray as well)

Edit: Just noticed how I wrote probable trades it reads Martin Taupau - it must be written in the stars and Taupau's form is going to improve from next week

Haha not solely on that video, just an extra upside. I would think that if they're making a big fuss about his debut, he'll hang around in the 17 and play his guts out this week. Well, thats how I justfied my Xerri pick

Went Garner to Young.  Is there anywhere I can fit in Martin also, with round 12 I think not unless I ditch Burns.

Yeah I'm probably over thinking it & Lawrie can wait till next week. Probably 1 of my biggest errors this year was I actually I had the Twal trade in lined up as my frf cover in round 3 but my team score was crap (ended up 762 points), I panicked, saw Sivo's 72 points he scored against the Roosters in my emg's & brought A. Hopoate instead of Twal so I could poophole Sivo's score. Haha actually my motivation was because I was playing Rabbit in a h2h that round, he was kicking my ass & I couldn't pass up Sivo's 72 points to try & beat him but he still crushed me anyway haha.

I wouldn't be trading Taupau out.
He's not in the ideal best 17 at the moment, but he's pretty close to it, and whoever you dump him for will be a sideways trade.
Plus his scores are more likely to go up than down in the 2nd half of the season
