We all love a heart-warming story. While this may not get him into our teams but at-least we can call him '2' without feeling guilty.

Is Mahoney's BE and uncertainty about his minutes a concern ?

His be is annoying for those looking at selling in next few weeks, but I don’t think he starts off the bench as a regular thing.

Good story, thanks for posting mate.

Bit annoying that someone must have been cutting onions near me at the time.....but really awesome hearing the background stories when these young blokes get their break.

Be warned though, if you lean too far forward and your legs can’t keep up, you fall on your face. I know this from my touch footy comeback when I somehow ended up in space and thought I was a certainty for a meat pie. Needless to say it was not pretty but gave the crowd a good laugh.

Oh man, Papen is what we need at fullback for the storms. Hughes is alright but that speed and tackle breaking ability from Papen, wow

Drop croft, Hughes at 7, Papen at 1.

I am a vivid Storm supporter and although I have always liked Hughes, he isn't a 7. You see what happened at Broncos when they had 2 Fullback/Five-Eighths controlling the team, there is no structure. Furthermore, I am a fan of Croft and I know he hasn't developed into the prolific Fantasy scorer like we all hoped he would he is actually doing quite well this year. His defence is improving each week and he is slowly getting his running game back. If we want to establish a long term halfback we need to stick with Croft and allow him to develop his game. I agree that Papenhuyzen is the fullback we need. Butchered a try yesterday when he got outside Fonua and should've passed to the Fox but instead he went himself. Other than that he will get better defensively but his prowess on attack is electric! Has the speed and tackle breaking ability that Hughes just lacks. As much as I like Hughes if he isn't named at 1 this week he may just be relegated to the bench... or even reserves.

First 2, Lomax is a centre who doesn't play 80 minutes..

Hopefully RyPapa takes the 1 for good, would be nice to get him in for cash and scoring potential over my average pick of Meaney.

Traded Niukore to Lolo, and Garner to Young this week. Wanted to hold Garner, scores well when he plays, but Young is going to make serious cash if he gets another few weeks, plus he plays the bye. Could have upgraded someone to another keeper, but there's no one putting their hand up ATM so went for $$.

Got $500k ITB to upgrade Ah Mau, Lawrie and who ever sucks in the next few weeks (Morgan).

You don't need a game managing halfback when you have the GOAT hooker to take care of that.

Team news ( apologies if its has been posted before)

Campbell-Gillard and Hame Sele dropped off the extended bench 24 hours before kick-off.

Issac Luke is set to start at hooker with Nathaniel Roache (back) and Chanel Harris-Tevita dropping out of the Warriors squad

Okunbor and Sele > Martin and Young?

Best options available but their JS isn’t all that flash

The only thing I don't like about Papenhuysen is his moustache. If he shaves it off I might buy him.

Hey guys, community team is set up to use Deardon on the Loop (over Young). Need a vote on what the over under would be. I've suggested either 45 (upvote) or 40 (downvote).

Vote at Round 10 choices (most recent post - end of the page)

    Cheers

Haha, yea a bit of that going around on NZ Radio too.

All I can say is that come end of that game, 1/2 the punters are gonna feel like they got crazy odds. Im just not sure which side of the coin I'd land if I had to bet that game. I mean, the flip side is how often would you take the Warriors away from home at $2?
