Just had a crazy thought....Elliot whitehead as a short term points/$ solution for my get rid of Capewell before he sheds lots of $ problem. Has averaged 52 over the last three rounds (i.e. since Bateman has been out). Guaranteed 80 min player and while he has been terrible at times (both this season and last) if he can average between 45 and 50 until Bateman gets back he will produce some points and about $100k. I could also go to JFH but he is going to shed $ before he makes any. Neither wil be a keeper so just writing the two trades off as sideways bye round trades....

Desperate due to lack of cash out options for Capewell?

Selling CNK is awful. Cotric is tipped for Origin and has very little history at CTR to know if last week 55 was outlier or not. Only other game I can find last season scored 23.

But the thing is that he is my kind of awful.

CNK has one big score that has driven up his declining average; Cotric will get DPP soon; his price will rise on the basis of 15 to 20 extra tackles per game; they will likely score similarly; ++ Taumalolo's scores are gonna shit on what Burr is serving up. Once Monte Burns is back, I will have two DPP CTR/WFBs for flexibility with one of them making way for a WFB keeper once funds allow.

CNK has maxed out and is not a keeper.

CNK isn't a keeper, he's warming the seat for Tommy/RTS. With Tommy not playing game 1, if blues go on to win by a convincing margin, I don't think he'll be playing origin this year.

Not many attacking stats and sometimes he can miss a bunch of tackles. Love it when he pulls off a big hit though

Have you thought about trading BMoz (I think you had him sat there in your EMG)? So, Burr and BMoz to cashout (Brittain?) and Lolo?

I want to warn you not to do it to yourself because I started the year with Whitehead but with Bateman out he's looked better. A case of your funeral or it pays off

Edit I have no idea why I picked Whitehead. I spend too much time on fantasy and wonder about what ifs in having different players in R1 but hindsight is hindsight

Thoughts on selling Okunbor to AFB? I would prefer a centre (was looking at D Walker) so I don't have to play Garrick or Xerri every week but AFB could be a massive POD that plays R12.

Is that in addition to Taupau. Do you want to be swearing at Des on multiple accounts rather than one player when he leaves the starting props on the bench

Yeah. I'm leaning towards Walker as a placeholder that will score okay during the bye period until I get Bateman back.

I know...I had him when he was good (a couple of seasons ago) and maybe that's clouding my judgement. I wanted to give myself a downvote a couple of minutes after posting that. I am going back to my plan of sucking up the hit on Capewell this week and hoping a decent cash out pops up next week.

I seen Farah mentioned as a trade in a few pages back. Are people not worried about Liddle on the bench? I would love to bring him in for Lawrie but am struggling to pull the trigger with Liddle there.

Liddle's been there 3 weeks and the only game he took minutes off Farah was when they had the game won by half-time, i think it's just the game where Farah went off after 8 minutes spooked Maguire into having a worst-case scenario option on the bench.

So far in 3 games on the bench, Liddle has replaced Farah for a total of 18 minutes (all in one game where the Tigers had a big lead)

I don't think he is a massive threat to Farah's game time. My guess is Farah will get rests in games were the Tigers are winning easily/getting flogged.
He'll probably not match the heights of his early season form, but I wouldn't have bet on him to match that even if Liddle stayed away.

Liddle will probably get injured within a couple weeks anyway

Im pretty confused right now and im grateful to have this forum to seek guidance.. Any words of wisdom would help me sleep a little better tonight. Do I hold trades? do i plan for the bye round better?

I havent had any troubles with trades until today... I have 24 trades itb. (22 now that i traded Morgan to Mann and Capewell to Tolo.

Against the panthers you gotta put sivo in there. This leaves me toiling between Sutton and Young to conclude my 17. With Tapine coming back i can easily see him taking mins off either. Do i just put Mann in instead?

    Rein
    Haas Fifi
    Crichton Jtrbo Murray
    Cleary Arey
    Xerri Nikora
    Sivo CNK Teddy

    Tapau Lolo Young Ponga

    Sutton Mann Deardon Garrick

I want to move Sutton on but cant really bring myself to do it until r12. Selling Morgan doesnt feel right (45). In the post match interview he know he played shit last week and was thankful to the boys for cleaning up his mess. He isnt playing well enough to play Origin and some part of me hopes he plays r12.

Selling Capewell means i have no CTR coverage.
