Good numbers so far, so long as people stay active should be a sweet lil "off-seson" tide me over til NRL starts again!

Its a good crack mate, more intense than NRL fantasy and more scouting needs to be done! Makes watching the games more enjoyable as well! screaming at the tv when they take away your RBs goaline scoring opportunites

The timing here isn't as good as it is for you for watching on TV it's on early Monday morning. I started understanding how hard you have it with the NRL last year.Welshy wrote:

Re: NFL Fantasy
Yea we get 2 live games every Sunday at 6pm and 9pm with redzone which is all the TDs from all the games as they happen which is great for fantasy! then Monday night footy is on early hours and some Thursday night games, will watch them live depending on whose playing! NRL is tough sometimes, on the weekend a lot of games KO at 5 in the morning but I just record them and watch them before the later games start, rough when guys pull up in the warm up etc and have been bitten a few times in fantasy but usually don't miss muchKrump wrote:

Redzone is far and away the best thing about NFL I do tend to get bored watching just the one game.Welshy wrote:

Re: NFL Fantasy
Man I am hyped to do this again. Especially after how I was going last year, until events happened. But with 14 players at the moment, it will change the drafting from the 8 last year.

Love it mate, quality edition and great for fantasy because it shows any team inside the 20 so you get to shout your fantasy players into the endzone or hope a D holds out any of your opponents players

Same bro! 2 more guys for 2 leagues of 8! If we get more interest we will move to two, 10 team leagues
I have already started putting my lists together
PS. we are actually up to 15 numbers already so only 1 more needed for the big 16, lets keep spreading the word and go for 24 and 3 8 team leagues!
if we stay on 2 leagues do we want 2 random leagues or newbs and second years/vets?

Re: NFL Fantasy
Welshy is talking crap. Unlike NRL Fantasy you can draft your favourite players and do well. That is why I drafted a scrub in Odell last year, even though he isn't great he was solid enough for me.
For real though, the main reason you don't draft a QB is because while they score higher on average than other positions the difference between Number 1 QB score and Number 10 QB score is smaller than that of #1 WR score and #10 WR score. So yeah you can look at it that you are drafting a player scoring higher than everyone else around him, or you can look at how much there is to gain by drafting an elite player in another position.
