Jump over to here around 5:02 and the lovely Pacey will let you know.

Pacey isn't that quick, the game is at 7:50pm

I'm going to the game tonight, I'll see if I can see something in the warm-up but all sources point towards Mann starting

I'll still have to play him.

A little, but Stuart has played his edge backrowers 80 minutes basically every game this season. Given Young is a rookie that may change.

Has some raps around the Melbourne Storm community. Averaging 33pts in 39 minutes a game this year off the bench for the Falcons.

There's still no reason why not. He's handled the extra minutes fine.

Sportsbet must know something we don't because they have Mann at $19 for 1st try scorer and Watson at $26.

He was great for Easts last year. Same age as Dave Fifita but physically a bigger bloke. Looks like someone who could become a very good player.

Nah thats just their odds if they start the match. Sportsbet always just cover their ass like that

Its like how Hughes and Paps are both $13 for first try in the storm match.

Books got cut over getting hammered by bets on late changes, so they just avoid the issue now where possible.

My assumption, based on no actual evidence is that Tapine will play as a middle this week, allowing Young to play 80 on the edge

    Hopefully next week too.

Then don't care too much, as long as Young made a bit of cash

Yeah, my first thought was that he would play 35-40 minutes in the middle for match fitness, plus with a few injuries, I doubt Ricky would want to hammer him for 80 right off the bat. Papa out for origin next week so that opens up a space and if Bateman does come back round 13, then good chance Young stays on the edge for 80 one more week.

If he can somehow average 45 over the next two weeks he should be about 460K come R13 and that would make a worth while cash out.

Whats the chances Cotric gets named for Origin and Whitehead/Bateman if healthy plays Ctr R12 as he is an international Ctr himself? Would leave a FRF and 2RF spot open.

The problem they were opening themselves up to.

Lets say Mann is name don bench, they might have him at $51 or whatever for first try scorer.
Then he becomes starting winger, and his price goes to $15

If you find out Mann is about to be a starter, place $50 on him at first try scorer at $51, before his odds can be adjusted.

Then when he actually gets moved to the wing, his odds change, and before the game starts you can cash out your best for more than $50

I'm not a gambler so never actually did this, but I know it was available a few times last year if you could react to team changes before the odds changed. Get yourself a fairly low risk profit just by cashing out bets after odds changed

whatever he does he's only really got 2 weeks to do it, as I can't see him being very useful if Bateman comes back in round 13

Actually saw a facebook page about this last year. People finding out players were going to be promoted from the bench, then chucking $100 on them at $50 and then cashing out when their price moves to $13 etc. Pretty sure a lot of comments on these posts were betting agencies banning them from the site. I guess they must've worked out a way to get around it by just making everyone's price as if they were starting.
