Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 52
reading up on Dugan and found this
2013 - Dugan had his Raiders contract terminated on 14 March following a string of off-field incidents. In April, he was set to sign a $2m, three-year deal with the Brisbane Broncos until an outburst on social media website Instagram cost him a contract. He then signed with the Dragons.... Imagine Dugan being a Bronco.

Would've been good reading seeing @MilfordTheMagician reaction weekly if it had happened.StormTrooper96 wrote:reading up on Dugan and found this

Dugan is crap. I was pissed when we lost out on Inglis all those years ago though.

Pretty good chance taps is there to cover the middle, specially as we will be without papa next week. Come Rd 13 I'd expect him back in his usual spot.MilfordTheMagician wrote:
A little, but Stuart has played his edge backrowers 80 minutes basically every game this season. Given Young is a rookie that may change.

I think we'd play kris there myself.StormTrooper96 wrote:
Whats the chances Cotric gets named for Origin and Whitehead/Bateman if healthy plays Ctr R12 as he is an international Ctr himself? Would leave a FRF and 2RF spot open.

Forgot to put up a poll earlier about Jai Arrow for the community team
Quick decision if you are a community team fan - do we trade him or not?

There is an interview with Stuart saying both Tapine and young have the ability to play in the middle so there is a chance we see both on the field at the same time

Guess that solves my young or Carty choice for final bench spot.

Wish i kept Whitbread but no point bringing him in as he wont make enough cash to warrant the trade over the next two weeks unless he goes gangbusters.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 52
Yeah makes sense. I actually think when all are fit I'd rather see taps spend a bit of time at lock and FR. I think Bateman and Whitehead are better for our edge defence, especially with a smaller body like Williams in the line. Could start Tapine at prop with Papa, spell him after 20, short break then back on at 30 to give Sutton a break. What you do after that would depend on the game, but i think a Papa + Taps combination would be scary, then you've got the energy of Soli, Havilli and Lui coming on later.Honey Badger wrote:

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 52
I don't think Carty is going to hold his value until R13 which is unfortunate, but I still want to keep him for R12 numbers which is annoying
What happens next week is more important - would Carty even start. I assume Wallace should make Origin but Shannon Boyd is on bench so would be straight swap and then someone on reserves pushes up (probably King) is on bench. Hopefully they stick with Boyd on bench, move Whitbread to prop (or vice versa) and then play Carty lock. Both options are just as bad as each other and they're probably going to lose either way

Sigh. Thumbs up take Sivo's 31, thumbs down Carty's bench score.
