Anyone can see that JWH saw that Ponga had kicked the ball.
Sure he was heading to tackle Ponga, but to go into the tackle and finish him like he did is a grub move.
Def not in the spirit of the game. maybe back in the 80's it was. But remember, this is a game that has outlawed shoulder charges and punching. NRL drew the line here, and they let that JRH tackle go..... inconsistent

No way, he stopped, looked at him and decided to do it anyway! I'd believe there was no malice in it with Ponga being a magician and JWH not being bright, he probably thought he still had the ball.
