Need 12 trades from here to get to a final 17. That will leave me with 5 and keeping Tolman around as I feel he has the best chance of being that steady INT scorer

Yeah he's been solid. I normally consider 45+ as a keeper for WFB, so his 47.6 is pretty good and unlucky that you lost him for the bye.

He's averaging 55 in the 5 games though since I bought him in, so in that regard, he's been a very good "POD".

Doubt he can maintain his current scoring though.

Bulldogs surely go in as favourites.

Its possibly even scarier than that as some of our backups could be out through injuries as well. We've got a woefully weak looking team this week Sad.

Just did up a quick list of teams who are playing mostly later in the round from R17 onwards (9 games) if you are looking in the direction of having a looper in your final 21.

I based this list of off the following criteria.
1 point for a team who plays the 3rd last game (R17 has 3 games on a Sunday and no Thursday game)
2 points for a team who plays the 2nd last game
3 points for a team who players the last game

On this criteria these were the top 7 teams
    1. Dragons = 14 – plays in the last 3 games 6 times out of the last 9 rounds
    2. Raiders = 13 – plays in the last 3 games 5 times out of the last 9 rounds
    3. Roosters = 11 – plays in the last 3 games 7 times out of the last 9 rounds
    4. Tigers = 8 – 4/9
    5. Eels = 8 – 3/9
    6. Sharks = 8 – 4/9
    7. Storm = 8 – 4/9

Based on this it appears that Raiders play mostly later in the round (Sunday night games); however, only 5 times. Dragons seem like more of an average with 6 of 9; however, varies from 3rd to last game quite a bit. Roosters play later in the round the most but mainly on a Saturday night or Sunday game 1.

If you are looking at bringing in a R12 to turn them into an NPR looper later in the year you’re best off picking up a Raiders player, but here are the amount of games per the last 9 rounds R12 teams play.
    Titans – 4/9
    Sea Eagles – 3/9
    Panthers – 3/9
    Dogs – 2/9
    Cowboys – 2/9
    Rabbits – 4/9
You could still go for a Titan or Rabbits player as they still have 4/9 rounds but play mostly Saturday nights.

Here is R16 (Other than those named above)
    Knights – 1/9
    Warriors – 1/9
    Broncos – 0/9

R16 you are better off picking a Dragons or Roosters player if this is the way you are leaning.

On these results, if you are looking for a looper in your final 21, my findings are that it is probably better to trade in R12 cheapies with the expectation to turn them into R16 cheapies afterwards as you have more chances of picking up late games. This is also all probably a waste of time.

My financials suck so Im thinking of this.

Lawrie to DWalker nets me 150k from the trade and I get a Rd12 scorer, he will face the Panthers, Cowboys, Dragons, Titans before the bye so quite possible can average around 40 and make another 150k before being traded down to a Rd16 cashout for 300k+ gain.

Does that make sense? I'm trying to get out of this hole, seriously!

How did Reece Robson go? I didnt get to watch the game. Fantasy score and stats suggest he went good. What did he and McInnes do.

I have been toying with this as well.....thinking a trade to RTS/TTurbo and move Ponga up into the halves for a bit. Cleary was shite during the origin period but definitely kicked on the path home (from Rd 19).....I'ts a gamble and no real urgency this week

Had a decent week with 1035 including my AFB purchase (all the emergencies outscored him) and the obligatory Lomax over Xerri clanger. Moved up to 438 which clawed back some of my 250 place drop from the previous week.

Only have 8 to start this week before trades but looking at what I have and whats on offer I am a bit uninspired. All my bench are earning $ and although Lawrie is an out option I can't help thinking he will be handy to hold on to over the next little while

Maybe he is just tryingto Milf himself into having a big boost in scores this week.

It's still very congested, I'm outside the top 1000.
No Worries who is in the top 600 is less than 100 points ahead of me. Just a few good captain choices, or 1 better trade and I could have halved my rank.

Every chance to make some big moves over the next month, either through good bye prep, or by getting your final 17 assembled ASAP

And in hindsight if I had of made different decisions I'd be coming first

They only had one left on the bench (Lafai, Graham, Frizell didn't return from injury/HIA) so may have impact his/Lawrie's minutes

McInnes looks like a goer though with Farah's weird minutes - Smith & McInnes as the 2 bench HOKs alongside Cook

Updated to 1062 and GreenMachine still beat me by 3 lol

Just 1 trade this week I think

    Brown to Havili

Leaves me with 11 players this week
    Tolman
    Taupau
    Taumalolo
    ARey
    Moses
    CNK
    Mahoney
    Rein
    Young
    Whitbread
    Havili

Rank is 83 so I’m hoping that it remains around the same

Walker looked good on the weekend busting tackles and making shit happen. If xerri didnt score well i probs would have traded him to walksy. As long as he doesnt left right goodnight his misso he should be a goer. Lawrie probably peaked

His scores from last year are rubbish but if you go back a bit further he doesn't look as bad. 6 scores over 40 in 2016 and another 7 in 2017.
