I think if at all possible you want to leave those till as late as possible. Getting the right cash out can be so significant overall and often we dont really know who those are going to be until round 16. That said, if I have to pull trigger now, Carrigan is the guy I'd grab. I would have thought he gets a pretty decent roll round 16.

Are guys grabbing Robson this week to help fund other trades or because he will be useful for the rest of the year?

Yeah it has to be done now so I can afford CS9, Bateman and a replacement WFB/HLF for ARey (leaning towards Watson but can also afford SJ but he will drop a bit of cash). Alternatively instead of the WFB/HLF I could play Lomax and get a 2RF for the bench max 654k for R16 (SST, Harris, Finucane) but think I will save the 136k to upgrade JFH next week to one of those players (or Matterson/Crichton if they don't make Origin for run home)

You can see the toll its taking on his fantasy output via run meters for example.

Nope, don't see him as an option at all.

So with DCE losing GK to Garrick is this enough to deter people away from him post Origin - will lose probably 4-6 points on his early season average

I'll still probably be picking him up, especially with the discount over the next couple of weeks

Is AFB a final 17 player lads?

Nah man, sorry. Although I heard he's been busted for quite a while. I can remember the posters names but theres a few warriors fans that seem to be in the know around here. Hopefully one of them will post again. For now though I think he's off the radar completely.

Agree - Carrigan should be good for a decent score in round 16 with Haas, Ofa, Gillett & Fifita not there, assuming Haas retains his position?

Although he probably wouldn't start, he should get solid minutes off the bench

I think if you have him currently he is certainly serviceable for the year. But if you have trades up your sleeve and it made sense in the context of your team, I think he's not a bad guy to trade at 16 for someone that plays 16 and is a keeper.

Cheers mate, been looking at Lord Dale has been a great acquisition for me in the past and his extra cash over other options mean I could probably turn Twal into someone slightly more significant in the final few weeks

Will Play decent minutes R16 and under $300k, scores well in limited minutes. Could get lucky with a Mcinnes injury.

Just sat down before work and had a proper look through my team and potential trades. This is fucked haha. Holding ARey probably not an option but he could be back next round.

I feel a bit at odds with holding him as my method this season has been to punt anyone that misses more than one week, and so far that has gone well.

My only real trade out to fund an upgrade to ARey, is Havili, and I don't really want to bring in anyone that is a cashout this far ahead of rnd 16.

Might just wing it through this week and hope that my cows can score well. Someone like Lomax or Martin will probably put up another decent score, but trying to guess the right one to play is difficult. Got a feeling that Lomax is going to score fairly reliably (like mid to high 30's reliable)

He's last on my list of players to upgrade. So probably he'll stick around until the end, but ideally I'll upgrade him

Didnt realise that Finucane was 50k cheaper than SST. That changes things.

I'm possibly considering trading Lomax or Martin in.

I may just turn him straight into Brooks.  Or I turn Young into Lomax and turn ARey into Teddy.  Just get Teddy and be fucking done with it. With all the uncertainty this week, maybe it's best just to get a keeper than making a dodgy move that could cost me later on.
