At starting HOK for 60 mins, he'd have to be uber bad to get 20s (like worse than Sione Katoa if possible)
He should average low to mid 40s I reckon (especially with likely attacking stats/high TBs against Warriors and Dogs in R16 and R17) which is enough for him to basically be a straight swap for TTurbo post Origin.

My thoughts exactly; although, the fact he made 44 tackles and missed 1 is what gets me. It doesn't look like much has actually changed with his stats. Metres gained were what can be expected from him, tack breaks were not out of the usual, normally misses more the 1 tackle but if he is making 40+ at hooker, plus his attacking ability it sounds alright.

AJ firming for the Souths. You think would either push Allan to the bench/out of the team/Allan to wing Gagai to Ctr Turner to bench

I can trade out Mahoney for anyone bar DCE,who would you pick? I’m thinking Milford or Matterson or even Jurbo

Watson is a trap if you want him as a top 17 player. If you use him as cover for round 16 and 17, and a stepping stone to a better option after that, he will be OK.

Tend to agree. Don't really see the appeal unless you've got a lot of trades to punt him again.
He's a bit like Havili, only a little too late.

If only Matto retained his DPP of HLF/2RF, would solve my issues

Will be punted in R17/18 for Turbo/DCE best of the bunch although I have to play this week.

I don't know if I'm being optimistic or not though, but as said by Chewie if you want to keep him in 17 for rest of season it's a problem because Slade Griffin and Levi will be returning around R18 which could complicate things
He appears to be a running HOK so you'd hopefully expect 80-100m, 25-30 tackles in 60 mins which is already 33-40 points in base stats. It's fairly easy to get 1-3 TBs per game (which could be lower this week v Storm but likely higher v Warriors, Dogs) and if you account for 1-3 MT that's around 34-45 points using minimum and maximum of those stats (I think you can safely say he averages 40 until after Origin). 40 average until R17 gets him around 640k (45 average around 660k) which will be close to TTurbo price post Origin (within 50k). He seems like an adequate WFB replacement while TTurbo regains fitness and while RTS is in shocking form

Yeah, was going that way prior to the Origin talk but am thinking that is the best course of action tbh

Reading nrlsctalk and Wenin teams analysis.. came across this in the article
There are some rumours floating around that James Tedesco could be a late out this weekend (despite being named)

They've lost 3 in a row, surely they can't afford to rest any key players, even if versing against the doggies

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 60
If you can afford one of the gun HLFs (Milford, Brooks, Pearce) playing 16 over Watson you should likely lean towards them as you won't have to trade them out
Personally, in removing ARey (who has back injury with unknown length) I need a WFB or HLF playing 16 (depending on where I play Ponga) for max 654k (because other trades are higher priority with CS9 and Bateman coming in). This leaves me with option of Watson (518k, playing HOK), SJ (648k, massive BE), RTS (shocking form) or Norman (611k)
Norman is actually an interesting option that no-one has mentioned but will likely be a notch below keeper level with need for attacking stats to boost scores most times

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 60
Watson for me is only an option if you are loaded up with trades and can afford to blow two on him.
He is not a final 17 player and you have to be willing/able to ditch him when he peaks or drops back to the bench as you don't want >$500k players clogging up your bench post origin (it is generally a sign that your starting 17 is not quite there).
I was looking at him as a straight swap for CNK to get some coverage through to 17 and make a few $ but figured there is a good possibility I will be stuck with him when trades are running short (given I, and a lot of others, will already have Havilli, Xerri, Lomax etc to cash down just before or just after rd 16) so no go for me.
