I think Watson's becoming a part of my squad this week!

Should visit weststigersforum.com if you want a good laugh and read through the Mannah thread 😆

I really like option 2 if you don't mind a punt, depending on team make up. Fifita is a must and McInnes probably is too and the sooner the better. But if you've already got a red dot (like Brittain for example) maybe you don't want to take a risk potentially/probably having another one just yet.
I bought Whitbread earlier in the year and that experience is scaring me a little bit but all the chooks fans think Verrills is better than Radley at hooker it just seems odd that if Robinson plans on playing Verrills at hooker this week, why wouldn't he just name him there on Tuesday. Roosters don't play late in the round so we won't know if he is playing until Saturday afternoon at the earliest.

Any opinions on Watson because I'm really liking him atm.

    Current team

    Smith
    Fifiita Haas
    Tolo Murray Tapau
    DCE Watson
    Nikora Xerri
    Ponga Teddy Turbo
    McInnis Cook Mahoney Kenny

    Robson Martin Sivo Brittan

    only 9 trades and 209k

Most likely only use 3-4 trades between now and end of rd16 aiming at 10 players. Waiting till after rd16 for Bateman, want to see RTS turn it around before bringing him in (Ponga to halves Watson 18-21 cover). Yes i have 7 hookers lol

Am I right that he only played at the weekend because leilua made a sele mistake?

Makes me wary that he’s gone in a week once the punishment is served

With trades low I don’t want to take too much risk

For me it's either moga or Robson for R16 and Robson is only one who has made an actual appearance in NRL this year so going with him mate

Fair call mate. Will have a think about it for sure but more playing for H2H and he could be worth the risk

You wouldn't be playing Verills right? I'm thinking you mean trade him in now as a cash out hoping he plays round 16 for some points. But poor/no job security for any other round and so will be a red dot. Which as I say isn't necessarily a problem if you have the rest sorted/covered, most will ultimately have a red dot or two in their final 21.

Watson I am strongly considering. But again depends on what you want from him. Quite the risk. Over these bye rounds I want the cover of HLF/WFB, maybe the option to play him in my 17 for some of these rounds, a possible 18th man candidate long term if he gets a full-time role when the likes of Levi/Griffin etc return and ultimately because of his low BE, might make enough cash to upgrade to a better 18th man. But we don't know how he'll really go at hooker for the Knights, how many minutes, how many weeks and if he ultimately ends up on the bench as a utility. I'm leaning towards taking the punt, but one might perhaps need an exit strategy.

He's named at hooker with a break even of 13 and no Hodgson named anywhere. Why wouldn't I?

Might as well keep Farah and then punt him post R16 to a genuine gun. Nobody else playing R16 really seems worth the trade.

Well they beat the premiers last week, albeit understrength, soooooo. Seems like a similar thing to the Dragons. Kenny started dummy half but when he came back on was playing lock while Egan was at dummy half if I'm not mistaken, thereby making Kenny and Egan (analogous to McInness and Robson) both middle players (because their other middles are injured or shit) and Luai (Field) the utility who gets fuck all minutes unless needed. I actually think $2.55 is good value against the bunnies who are missing Surgess, Turgess, ARey, not to mention AJ, GI , Burns etc.

Love Matterson but reckon he will be in origin, if he does then he falls behind the likes of KBrom due to extra game and Turbo who will likely average higher

    Concur

I think Twal or Taukeiaho are better value at a cheaper price and (potentially) 1 more game.

Taukeiaho is my tentative trade in for Tolman this week

Played the round before also for a neat 40+ score. Has a BE of 0 and with the lack of forward depth it is looking like 35+ minutes off the bench could be the norm. Bagging him for a R16 player who may make enough money to warrant an upgrade later on. Who knows.:. Could become this years tevaga. Feel like taking a risky punt and he is it.
