And Denver start off getting smashed up the middle by a TE (as is now traditional) and giving up a shit slant to Ty Williams, who should be shadowed by Callahan but he got pulled from the lineup at the last minute with a bung foot. Bah.

Yiadom needs to be put down. Literally 60% of the yards and 100% of the points Raiders have has gone down his throat. Bring back Callahan on one foot.

Starting CB out, starting ILB out, starting RT out. Its week 1 and were already wrecked with injury. Our starters can match with anyone but holy shit our depth is terrible.
Best thing about the game so far has been the crowd chant... "FUCK AB. FUCK AB"

I'll always have a special place in my heart for Flacco's magical playoff run, but he's been such a average QB since he went and got that ring, it's not even that he does anything bad, he doesn't make many mistakes, he just doesn't really do anything, you can just about predict a Flacco stat-line before it happens - 250-300 yards, 1-2 TD, 0-1 INT, and a bunch of stalled drives in FG range - won't lose you the game, but if your defence lets in 20+ points, the most you can do is pray your kicker is having a really good day.

Yeah, I fell for it. After your notes the other day talking about Denvers secondary (and of course Chubb and Millar), I changed out the Seahawks D for Denver. 0 points and lost my L3 matchup by less than 5 pts. Should have stuck with my hawks. We may have a terrible secondary that gave a lot to Cinci, but at least our front 7 can create the pressure. Not saying that Chubb and Millar can't, but gee they were quiet against the Raiders today.
Cant see me having a need to keep Denver D on the pine from here.
[Of course I know its my choice - no blaming]

Those extra seconds of coverage in the secondary are huge for guys like Miller/Chubb and Donkeys were terrible! Raiders team that just lost AB and were poor

Shit thing is, apart from Yiadom, the secondary actually played well. Harris was only targetted twice for 1 short completion to Renfrow and Jackson had 2 stops 1 yard short of the gain line (Waller and Moraeu (I think)). I cant understate how much Yiadom got pasted. He had 7 catches allowed in the first 20min - he led our tackle count for a reason, his mark kept getting the ball. For a team to have more then 25 rushing attempts against them and the leading tackler being a corner and not a linebacker... not great.

Re: NFL Fantasy Thread Part 5
Just adds a little more colour to his portrait hey.
Still think the same, cannot believe he is allowed to go to the Patriots, or any club for that matter. Should sit the year and have a think perhaps.
Apparently the offer in the first place, b4 the Raiders, was Patriots offering a round 1 draft pick, but being a rival the Steelers said no. Now he ends up their, threw his toys and got what he wanted.

Yeah strong performance considering M. Gordon and AB were in his starting side.
