I wonder if him becoming such an urgent sell next week has changed a lot of trade plans for the remainder of this weekend, one way or another.

Gotta say, big congrats to those who got rid of CNK this week. I did think it was one week too early but now I feel like a real dunce for holding onto a player that has really fucked with my plans. The money he will lose this week is going to go a long way to negating the value the players on my watch list will lose.

Last night did not go to plan so was hoping that SJ was more a case of blowing of the cobwebs.
TTrbo may have just been blowing out the cobwebs (5 errors) last week too. I am sure they will both come right. We normally give all guns coming back from injury a week to settle (or a couple if they have a dud and may drop cash). That's usually the norm. But desperation and perhaps a lack of patience this week has driven many a manger to chump on earlier. Bateman's and Fifita's (and probably a few others) first game back scores wouldn't have helped either

Cheers mate, I said to myself before the game I'd take anything 40+ but am now 2nd guessing myself. I'll be mighty pissed if I decide to go with Martin and he does a Xerri and goes off early for a HIA. That's the risk you take but I guessGreenMachine wrote:
Think I’d go Martin. He’s scored 45 in his last 2 games and 48 2 games before that.
Know he loves a demerit but I wouldn’t ever really take sub 40 against a legitimate playing option.
Unlike the previous examples where people were considering it agains Staggs and some other numpty... Whitbread or someone.
I know you can’t just add the demerits but the lad is a 60+ player without them

Happy I’ve got my final 17 come round 16 but boy I’ve really slatsed this season.
Only rumour I've heard is that it's up to Tedesco, in which case I can't see him taking the week off and watching his teammates from the sidelines, especially after 3 losses in a row.
Players are gonna play if it's up to them. The club might force him to rest after origin III, but he probably won't be happy about it and might not if Roosters continue to struggle.

Toss up mate - if you are wanting to make up ground on the leaders take a risk go Martin. But the safer option, particularly given Martin is up against Souths, is probably Havilli.

I think a heap of players would have played CNK. Far fewer would have rolled the dice on Xerri given most will have Bateman and Nikora in their Cs. I know its not the done thing on this thread, but so many of the top ranking players would have had Xerri on the loop I reckon!

He got better in the second half but I thought his involvement was poor. His D was pretty average too, particularly on the Corker try.
The main concern for me is I dont think he took on the line once.
That said, first game back, he'll grow in confidence. I wouldnt get him next week...

Not a bad team really mate. Good POD halves. Was looking at Brooks myself. Farah a concern though. Mine won't be much better lol.

I love that feeling! Although it feels a little weird saying that while looking at Bateman's face....

Knowing my luck POD is not a good thing haha.
I will have 4 trades after bringing in Bateman and maybe a little bit of cash leftover for something but its looking like thats my lot this year.
Kinda hoping one of those cashouts has some ROS value, but unlikely

That team above has 4 trades remaining for the run home.
Im sure the rest of you will do better than that.

The most annoying thing about CNK's score is that RTS will probably score 70 verse the Titans this evening. I had planned to stick solid with CNK until round 16, and while RTS's recent scores have been disappointing, I've no doubt he can and will bounce back quickly. Just hope it isn't tonight now...

Yeah man. Im thinking the same.
RTS is either WFB 3 or 4 I reckon this year. Probably 4 behind T Trbo. He will bounce back and be a solid buy for who ever gets him. This week may well have been the ideal time to go CNK to RTS....time will tell!

Thank you Rhino and Kiwi for responding with good insights. I cannot bring myself into getting To'o ( Rd. 16 ) unfortunately. Staggs as previously mentioned
is a good footballer who does not equate his style of play to good fantasy scores ( so far ). Might have a go with Hughes as I need a differential to the top teams
who are starting to look similar to each other. Ranked in the 40's ATM so will have to do something for a surge or just peter out for not giving it a go.
I agree with the other guys, I'd pull a trigger on something. If you get Staggs, will he be in your 17 moving forward, or just this week? I grabbed Staggs this week, but only as a cash out/reserve player for the run home. He's gonna have some good scores in him though.
If I were you I'd strongly consider Corey Thompson. Its a bit of a punt, but if he keeps the WFB position he could score rather well. The Tigers were dreadful last week and he still put up a 39.

Yup. At this point I'd be happy for RTS to score anything under 40. That won't "hurt" too much.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 61
My final 17 will have Xerri and CNK alternating between 17th/18th man. Either that or I turn them both into a gun and cashie and use To'o as my 18th man, which i'm not too confident about.
