This is a great attitude from a guy who's had some shit breaks in the last couple of weeks. Some of the folks on here lately could learn a lot from it.White Lightning wrote:@ Camo - don't sweat it bro you argued your case re Xerri & you were right. There's no way anyone on here can blame anyone else for their trades selections because you have to own your decisions. Of course buying Dearden last week for a 0 point return & buying Xerri this week for a 5 point return is not too good but you take it on the chin & move on. Xerri will be back next week & he'll carve up the Bulldogs.

If he could just go around Brooks that would be lovely

I lost 50 ranks playing Bateman, Nikora, CNK and Fifita. Strange.

Wighton, Xerri, Havili will be the main cause of that I'd say.

I have noticed some people getting pretty fired up. It reminds me of people getting angry at pookie machines when they lose

As a side note, i went to the Raiders game last night. $35 to get in and $5 for a bottle of water. $40 is way too much for a cold school night outing.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 61
is there any reason when people are considering how many games a player will play and the likely hood of what points they will score based on their current average that they don't include the player replacing them off they are due to miss a game.
e.g. picking rts over teddy because he might play 2 more games over the course of the season. shouldn't you include the likely score of the player who would replace teddy in the 2 games he is in your reserves to make it realistic as I doubt anyone forward planning wouldn't have cover.
e.g. teddy 10 × 55 = 550 + Sivo 2 × 40 = 630.
RTS 12 x 50 = 600.
a lot more accurate way to look at it imo.

That is a great effort alright but even better was the rain at the cricket world cup meant NZ got 1 point whereas if they had of played India would of won & NZ 0 points.

Because in almost every situation, the 'extra' game is round 16, where we'll all have less than 17 players and the replacement will be 0.
Even in round 17, if enough origin players don't back up, some people may struggle to get 17 on the park.

You should include 1 replacement but not 2 as you won't have a person to replace him with in 16, well 99% of players won't! But yup, your point is a good one, and people do over look that!

Nah mat, Im in the other camp. NZ needed the hit out.
Even if we lost and I suspect we would have, if we want to win the whole thing we need as much cricket under our belts vs the top opposiotion as possible Game time vs Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan isn't gonna do as us much good.

Round 17 will be interesting because people are cashing out players now and up to round 16, to get to their final 17, meaning many won't have very good cover if numerous origin players do rest that week.
Sounds very likely Tedesco and Ponga will be sitting out 17 meaning alot will only be playing 16.

This isn't fantasy relevant but wackos just tweeted the Titans have released Max King & he will join the Storm before June 30. He isn't fantasy relevant at the Titans but at the Storm his potential will be realised so next year he could be a smokie depending on if he ends up in the 17.

I wonder if it means Storm might let go of Drinkwater before June 30 now, because basically they wanted a forward in return from Cowboys to fast-track the deal but getting a forward from Titans might be enough

Will be interesting to see how many of you top guys actually plan for that scenario, i.e. have a couple WFB reserves you can put in, or whether you just accept a zero. Obviously everyone has the choice, but more interesting to see what you fullahs do

That is true mate & it sounds there's going to be a lot more games not finishing or even starting with the weather that's forecasted over there so most teams will have at least 1 game rained off.
