Was just listening to the NRL Late Mail podcast and they had a bit about the stats and sometimes how it is controversial

Basically the stat providers' answer was that their stats are coded to be knowledge for the nrl coaches first and foremost which is then mirrored in the fantasy platform which is why sometimes TAs are awarded and aren't awarded (asked about try saves but they said they'd address it on another podcast post Origin)

I just assumed everyone freaked out & had panic/anxiety attacks when Fifita was suspended. Also I was reading on sc that Haas won't play round 15 but it's just speculation probably.

That’s interesting because when the nrl forced this mob on coaches/clubs there was an uproar about how shit their info is.

Edit. Should probably expand on that. I remember reading a few years ago that the nrl was basically forcing clubs into a new stats provider and clubs weren’t at all happy about what they were getting.
I don’t have the links anymore but one of the nuts on here will.

Apparently their stats are based on the operational definitions used by the NRL

e.g. operational definition of a TA is "An action by an attacking player that has led to or created a Try Scoring chance for his team mate"

No definition of a TB so let's just keep it as a sideways crabbing run that gains you 3 points when you lay a finger on a defender

Edit: given their definition is based on subjectivity - action leading to chance (what exactly defines action) you can see where confusion comes from

They had examples from this season (e.g. Munster being given TA for Seve last week vs Pearce not being given TA for Ponga's 2nd try v Dragons) - video up on NRL Fantasy Facebook around 37-38 min mark

Some idiot from fanhub was a member here for two minutes a few years ago and I made the suggestion of a member from here and the major fb groups going through whatever training they give Ramesh. It was met with a loud echo

Shit I hope he's okay. If it's some kind of Barba controversy, we sure can pick'em hey? But benefit of the doubt until we see something solid.

If workplace is amazing you need to find a way for you not to be miserable at your job. If this can't happen you need to find another job I'd think. Being miserable at your job will slowly wear you down and have not good effects on your physical and mental health.
My better half is hanging on to a job that has a toxic environment because she's not quite sure if we have enough money ITB for retirement. The stress she has to endure and how that effects us both isn't worth it. I've nearly convinced her to quit.

And with 7 trades left I can't really afford t be trading Fifi out and bak in again. Have a week to decide whether to trade him out for the season. Not sure this is an option.
