Thanks brother.  You're input is always much appreciated.  The 50Kmeans Sivo to SJ can be done in 1 trade.  Getting Smith also next week, that extra trade will be needed as a downgrade.  Getting Fifi back will be a big ask but SST/Twal and Watson this week is better than playing Havilli and CNK.  Have to try and stay in tge hunt.

Waiting to get SST means I can see if Morgan actually plays.  If he doesn't I have to rethink everything.

I'd be hard pressed getting in Watson at his current price, he won't stay at hooker

I'd look at saving a trade there

It's mainly for the cash generation over the next three rounds.  It could be crucial. But I know what you are saying.

Is he the only way you can get that cash vs wasting 2 trades (in and back out) otherwise you are paying well overs if you keep him and he scores 35-45 (big push) moving back into halves or off bench again at worse case

True. I could just do a Dearden to Coates or any other potential cashie now for the money. Wasn't looking to keep him so yeah might leave me low on trades and not an ideal 16th 17th man anyway. Thanks mate, food for thought.

I was deciding between SST and Twal. In the end it came down to SST being 50k cheaper and I need all the cash I can get!

Think I'm going with the following trades..

Cleary and CNK out. Twal and RTS in. 10 trades left.

    Still undecided on captain.

Yeah, went Fifita and Havilli to Tauk and SJ which came out with zero left in the kitty. Maybe its a sign?

Nice mate. Might skip Watson and just get SJ now instead and at least it's another keeper for the run home.

I've found myself with a very solid team all of a sudden and I already have all these guys (Matterson, Twal, Crichton, SST) that you guys seem to be agonising over choosing between. I also have had Fotuaika since just before origin 1 and I think he is shaping up as my 18th man.

Is it worth taking a punt and cashing out for Coates this week? I'm thinking of cashing out to Coates instead of Carrigan. I feel he's going to do a 2017 Ponga and play his way into the team (and likely play next week anyway).

    Current team post trades:
    Cook
    Haas, Fotuaika
    Matterson, Murray, Tolo
    Moses, Watson
    Bateman, Nikora
    RTS, Tedesco, Ponga

    CS9, Twal, Crichton, SST

    Fifi, Brittain, Xerri, Coates

I can get SJ in for Xerri next week and am hoping for Watson to Munster post origin 3, but it will be tight unless I go for Coates over Carrigan

Looks like a good team. I'm not sure I agree with selling Xerri to SJ during R16 as his points will be valuable. Even though highish BE of 36 I think he's going to blow it out of the water against Bulldogs and then his cash could be useful

Honestly unless you absolutely need the cash this week you should wait till next week and grab whoever the best cash out option is. At this stage of the year Coates might make 20k this week, the security of not burning a trade is worth more than that

Thanks guys, that sounds solid. The Coates cash out funds havili to sst but I guess I could just straight swap cnk to sj this week and see what happens next week. Still not totally sold on SJ but he is veeerrry cheap

Pacey's Best wrote:Looking at Origin game 3, all the talk is who will partner Moloney in the halves between Pearce and Graham. If Freddy chooses Pearce, then Graham is perfect to cover multiple positions on the bench as he did in game 2. But if Freddy goes with Graham at 5/8, will he again look for a versatile player on the bench to cover multiple positions from the bench like Graham does.
What are the chances that is Ryan Matterson ???????????

Pearce won't play because he's given every excuse possible i.e. fake injuries to get out of playing even though he said he would in the media. He had no choice other than to say yes I want to play because he would of got a negative criticism from fans who love to pick on him if he had of said no (only CS9 can get away with saying no to your state). The only change I can see happening is Klemmer replacing Cleary with W. Graham into the halves. They will not drop anyone from that team who won so emphatically because no deserves to get dropped after a win.

He's a wfb 212k player from PNG who is 18th man named for the Broncos. Isaako is not playing due to personal reasons so with Kennar named on the wing people are surmising Coates will come in for Kennar. But Isaako could be back next week so best case scenario if Coates usurps Kennar he could play 2 games in the next 2 rounds assuming with Oates playing origin so Coates will keep his starting spot in round 16. Then after round 16 I suppose he disappears.

Cheers mate - sounds like a dangerous buy this week then, but I guess people are only pulling the trigger on him this week if they absolutely need to.

Will keep him in mind for next week though, cheers.

Wish I had the luxury of double figure trades. Probably went a little to aggressive early on. I like the plan I have outlined; just hoping that the cards fall in my favour and 2 trades for the run home is enough.

Anyone not sold on SST? My gut is not confident. After all my options I don't fucking like any trade options this week. Sad

Might just cash out Dearden to Coates and turn Fifi into Smith and play Clocky and hope he repays the faith.

I'm very tempted by him, but not quite sold. I think I'll try fork out for Crichton, despite his lack of fantasy form earlier in the year. He's much more likely to throw up a couple of 80+ games in the run home.

That trade is the one I may need to be flexible on, the other two trade in's I have to make are Cook and Tedesco.
