Matterson was a bit ugh in first outing with 40 points (could have had 50 if he got the ball down)

Maybe he was obscure enough not to get selected for Origin because I barely noticed him in large periods of the first and second half

Cook (c) absolutely fine with was hoping for 65, Murray a bit meh but kinda expected

Did anyone get rid of Murray for Origin period, looks to have worked out pretty well

Anyone looking at Lichaa should avoid as JMK will be back after the bye.

He had 18 points in demerits which would’ve put his score up to 59 which is decent

I'm glad I didn't end up going JFH to Matterson & decided to wait due to the Panthers playing the Warriors. Even JFH at prop will match Matterson's 40 points & he'll probably beat it.

Having Cook (c), Twal & Murray shot me up the rankings (71 to 26). Obviously not many around my rank range captained Cook. They either sold or chose someone else like Lolo.

Not sure that's the way to look at it as Brooks is often high on the demerits. Loves a missed tackle.

He did have a lot of plays which were close to points though. He seems to want to take the line on more too which is always going to result in more points eventually. Every chance fanhub could've given him the TA and LBA from MCK's break.

    Time will tell!

Reversed my Fifita to Milford trade with the rumours of a switch to fullback. If he loses kick metres he goes back to a 40 odd average even with increased attacking stats

Leaves me 11 trades in the bank so I will probably make 3/4 trades next week. Need to have the war chest ready to grab Cook in 17, aside from Bateman he looks like the biggest advantage you can have over second best.

    Will do something like

    Taupau > McInnes
    Havili > Cash out
Martin > Milford(if he either stays in the halves or keeps his kick metres at fullback)/SJ

Finucane/CNK also potential trade outs to build the war chest for Cook

I'll be overseas until round 20 so won't be able to do much active management, will have to trust the ranked subs to cover any late outs

I've set up my team :

    16. Fifita
    17.Deardon

    18. Farah
    19. Havili
    20. Carrigan

With Farahs shit show of a performance where he only scored 27 points would u promote both Havili and Carrigan above him?

Don't have the trades up my sleeve but brought Twal in fr Fifita anyway. I'm not going to win the thing so if I can't get Fifi in will it really matter ? Happy with the decision so far

Have decided that CNK will stay around all season now.

Also does Dearden come straight back into the Broncos when fit? Or is he done for this season?

    Carrigan = no
Havili = worth a punt, but no guarantees

Glad Nofo had a quiet game before I bring him in. Allows me to bring in Bateman after the bye.

I really hope Drinkwater has a good game tonight. Was really upset for the kid after he done his pec in pre-season. Was ready for a big year with us. Sad he has moved on, but as long as he is getting a start in first grade I am happy. I remember watching him and Harry Grant in the JT - Cam Smith memorial pre-season game last year and they looked really good. Hope Grant cracks a top gig sooner rather than later too.

Matterson was inches away from a try instead of a knock on. That 10 point turnaround was closer to changing his score than missed tackles
