Using the trade now is making me feel pretty uncomfortable though, but I'm not sure there are going to be any better cheap options for next round.

The alternative is to wait and hope that P Kaufusi starts for the Dragons.

Do you expect to keep Carrigan for the rest of the season? I'm assuming yes. He didn't even score over 30 when our Origin players missed so I don't see him scoring very well for the rest of the season.

I could be wrong but I read somewhere Dearden due back round 20. I have him & might hold because I think he'll be straight back into the team & I don't have the trades to use on him.

Don't go kicking yourself for missing out on half a dozen points because you picked one great captain option over another great captain option.

If you captain Isaako, that's another story. Wink

Did he? I thought I watched him pretty closely last week and he basically did squat at the attacking end other than set up that one try toward the end. 19 RMs from what I can see, no TBs....

Wrong game mate. We talking about the international games last weekend. Had 3 tries, 69 run metres, 2 line breaks and 3 tackle breaks.

He is just a cash out that plays round 16, so yeah, he'll be in my team for the rest of the year.

We haven't played a game yet without all origin players (Gillett and Ofa were out in round 13), though it looks like Haas will play round 16 and Glenn will probably be back.. (Fifita/Gillo/Ofa all origin)

I expect Round 16 to be:
Haas/hooker/Lodge/TPJ/Glenn/Flegler starting, with Carrigan first off the bench, plus fensom/mago/whoever.. am I missing anyone?

I just want a cash out that scores 30 odd in round 16, I can see that happening from Carrigan with TPJ having to play an edge that week. I don't really care what he scores beyond that.

Am I looking at this wrong? Maybe Kerr is a better option in the hope he scores some points in round 16 but then becomes a red dot for that bad ass shit.

Sege may fill a bench role if AM9 finds a spot in the QLD camp

All the cashouts under 300k suck this week. Carrigan is probably the best option for someone who could score 25-30 points every week.

Curran signing for the Warriors is an option though I reckon. Kearney spoke highly of him this week and with Tohu out could be on the bench next week.

Might go Fifita and Dearden to Watson and Fauni. Get a couple of extra bucks for Havilli and keep Clocky around.

Nice to have a few options pop up, Burns, Brown, and Fainu all good for the 18th spot and that extra injury cover

Just a list of cashouts to keep an eye out for next week that are under 300K

Tui Kamikamica 288 - Storm - No Kaufusi, Finucane and possibly Welch so some minutes up front there.
Liddle 287 - Seems to be getting more and more minutes
Carrigan 243 - Some minutes off the bench or possibly starting
    Field 242 - No hunt
Clark - 218 - Possible minutes increase through injury and other players on the outter
Kaufusi - 216 - May slot in somewhere with all the forwards out
    Kerr - 212 - See above
Any Storm CTR/Wing - Eisenhuth, Earl, LumeLume
Coates - 212 - Possible in this week and next

Yes they are great but Burns is slowly getting out of reach. Brown same as Burns, 3 game average of 36 and low BE and would love a look before getting in. Fainu is expensive and not sure if I can afford him yet. May have to wait until next week or after origin though.

Burns will only be about 450K next week or so wouldn't he?  Be a great pickup to play every week IMO if you needed a cheaper alternative to play.

With my limited trades I feel like I have to be really careful with my trades. Burns could potentially be a final WFB, I wouldnt be able to grab him for my EMG

Those that are looking at Burns, Drinkwater, etc, are they at the expense of one of Tedesco/Ponga/Tommy T? Or as an 18th?

I'm assuming the "best" target for back 5 is Bateman/Nikora/Tedesco/Ponga/Tommy T

Not for a wee while, RD20 I think.

Just a wondering if it's worth downgrading him or just hold him for the year, will he backup down the line

I picked up Burns this week, looking at bringing in Fainu before round 17.
I may or may not hold Farah for round 16 (depending on his BE)

Lomax to Fainu sounds good to me. Once either Fainu peaks or Koroisau comes back from injury i'll trade him to TommyT. At this point in time, Either Brown or Mann will be 18th man for my final team. End team should look like -

    (C)ook
    Fifi Haas
    Jason Murray Kapow
    Ponga Milf
    Burns Nikora
    RTS Teddy TommyT

    Smithy Mclnnes TKO Bateman
    Mann/Brown Staggs Simmonson Moga

    Thoughts??
    Cheers in advance.
