Not sure if mentioned but has anyone seen the whole Trbojevic dramas with the Doggies and Manly that they are getting sick of the contract dramas at Manly and the Doggies are offering them some big money

Former Samoan international & Wests Tiger Tim Simona has been cleared for a return to rugby league.
The 27 year old will return with Manly Sea Eagles feeder club Blacktown Workers in the New South Wales Cup.

Yeah I mentioned this yesterday. I think the NRL ratified the decision as it was brought forward prior to the June 30 deadline so he could possibly play NRL also.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 66
I'm just going with Walters.
Broncos wingers are a roulette, particularly with how well they're travelling lately. I'll take a 30 to 40 from Walters than what could be 30 over two rounds from a winger just so I have a backup in R17 if Teddy is rested.
I mean Coates could bust a lot of tackles and score a try or two but maybe he might not. Is he going to be a Brian To'o or is he going to be a Corey Allan? I'll take Billy Walters over a winger that plays for the team in 3rd last that ranks 3rd last for points scored.

If it matters, Coates right wing, Farnworth left. We rarely go to our right winger, but then our normal halves aren't playing either. That probably means Boyd just calls the ball to the left for his incredibly-predictable-left-shift-where-he-squeezes-the-centre-and-winger-into-touch

Unlikely he'd play NRL this year as he wasn't named in top 30 for Manly, so would need injuries to go his way and get dispensation from NRL

Weren't people saying something about after June 30 it doesn't matter?

Thanks for the totally unbiased feedbackStormTrooper96 wrote:
Not sure how solid the "Boyd has been on the chopping block for a while, but injuries have kept him safe" thing is. If it is then Coates for sure... but then who know if this week is a tryout and the better of Farnworth or Coates gets the cake for the rest of the year. Coates has lots of rep around him so I would say he gets the start if this is the case.
Walters is a solid player and son of the king so it is in his genes, playing for the right coach, right team, behind the right people. Been pretty consistent in QCup and I think is a solid 40 with the running game to allow him to go higher. Could also see R17 and possible other rounds with possible restings to come as Storm have Titan twice in the back end of the season.
For me I am grabbing Walters.

Assuming the Sharks side stays as it is it wouldn't be too hard for Coates to rack up the TB's against Feki, Jmoz, Capewell.

"Following feedback from clubs the rules regarding development players will be relaxed slightly in 2019, with no exemption required for them to play post June 30.
Before the mid-season cut-off date those players will still have to be upgrade or extenuating circumstances proven – such as an injury toll that cuts down all top 30 members available in that position."
Simona isn't being signed to Manly though, is he? Just Blacktown? If he is just signed to Blacktown, he can't play NRL this year.

The whole gambling thing I could let slide to a certain degree.. But getting teammates to sign jerseys, so he could auction them off in the name of charity and then piss that money away, that kinda says something about the guy that makes me not want to see him in the NRL again.
He can blame his girlfriend for that all he wants, but he chose that company and consciously made those decisions.
He should find a career elsewhere, this is entertainment and I won't be entertained by him.

Fair enough. I'm definitely leaning towards Walters, mainly because I have Munster.StormTrooper96 wrote:

I started with Munster this season and he's been pretty consistent, one of my better picks

Broncos left edge would then be: Glenn, Turpin, Shiba, Farnworth????????

Staggs has been playing on the left, but other than that, yeah.
Unless SOS switches to left? I'm not sure. Might be better for him being a left foot kicker.

I thought Staggs was right last week, or was that just after he was shifted to wing?

I'm making SJ captain, he will run rings around our depleted team all game. Who's with me?

Very tempted to captain SJ but his floor just scares me too much. Probably stick with one of the Cams tonight.
