If i use 2 trades this week ..with one trade left for injuries..

Not the best team is only first year at this and hav learnt a hell of a lot.

OK this is my squad for the run home. No trades this week meaning I will potentially be short of 17 if we don't see Pearce/Ponga etc.

$71k and four trades. WFB the only position I may not have cover in if Coates doesn't get that wing spot, Maranta doesn't see anymore game time and Xerri doesn't get DPP.

Tevaga's probably injured mate. Best to wait until after origin to see how Cook, Murray, Pearce and Teddy pull up.

O'Sullivan's injury might not be serious, so not sure how long Paix would be around for.

Another gun SR so you can put Taupau on the bench for FR/SR cover would be good too.

I've seen some posts saying Dearden will be back this week. Not from any reputable sources, so no idea if people are just guessing. Thought he had a few more weeks myself.

Getting through Week 1 of the eliminator is irrelevant as I'll play VK in Week 2.

Cant see a way to get in any player over 600k unless i trade out fainu.
Didnt realise tevaga was injured could go with liam martin or tpj looks like he could be on a bit of a roll atm.. would love to get matterson or jurbo but just not enough cash.
If i did trade fainu would mean having to bring lomax into 17th man..

What are your thoughts on Xerri/Mahoney in your team? Surely Mahoney won't stay around all year? That is 4 HOK on your bench. Are you looking at keeping both Xerri and CNK for WFB/CTR coverage? Can you hold trades for a week and wait for all teams to be full strength? Knights play Friday night so thats a plus.

With any luck Paix will be named so you can cash out Lomax for Paix who you can play at half for Ponga and yep then Watson to Fifita. Alternatively Field/Nicholls/Walters should give you enough if they get another run with origin restings.

Assume Paix  will be on the extended bench on TLT, but he is due to play for QLD u20s on Wednesday, so we should get a strong indication of whether he would be a late in, if he is withdrawn from that match.

It would be good if Brittain and Dearden are playing this week. That should give me plenty of cover for Origin outs. I also have Walters in case Munster gets a rest. I think I should be able to field 17 without too much trouble
