I see the problem with running with 0 trades for the last 5 weeks and I don't want to sound like I am not taking anyones advice because I am and I really value everyones opinion and thoughts but I would rather finish with a strong 18-19 players and 0 trades and plenty of cover and hope I stay safe for 5 weeks, rather than finish with an ok 15-16, shitballs 17-21 and have 2 trades just in case.

In the last 5 weeks Butcher’s minutes have been 50, 62, 68, 50, 80 for a 5 game average of 54.8 (keeper level)StormTrooper96 wrote:
Not a fan of Butcher yet aye, needs a more concrete spot/minutes. I did tickle the idea of getting Arey this week but I kind of think no chance in getting inside top 250-200 and I would have plenty of cover to cover for any short term injuries or suspensions with players who are not full nufties. Will only have 0 trades from R21-25 so I am happy with that.
Also has a 3 game average of 61.3

The perfect team would have:
Cook (Smith, McInnes, Fainu, Bateman/nikora)
bench

Whichever way you go best of luck mate
Thanks mate, I really value what you say and your thoughts. Everyone around here seems to really listen to you when you speak mate and I know what I am doing is probably the wrong thing and will probably backfire I just can't see any other way other than finishing with a shit 16/17/18/19 and bugger all cover or finish with a strong 19 with 2 x NPRs and cover everywhere and 0 trades for the last 5 games.

Friend has also been missing all year with Radley playing Hooker. Butcher has been playing Radleys role. In the 1 game Friend, Radley and Butcher have all played together (R17) butcher played 30 minutes off the bench. I agree he has really benefited from origin and injury but Roosters are starting to get all their big players back... Expect Butcher's minutes to probably drop.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 68
Crichton is really annoying to own at the moment
Putting up 1PPM 50’s off the bench shows the upside that made me trade him in, but he is also my most likely trade out target for Cook as I don’t think he can keep that volume of scoring up
If he moves back to the edge and starts playing 80 again he could be a huge end of season POD
If you had to trade one of Crichton, Murray, Matterson, Twal or Taupau for Cook who would you move on?

I agree. Bring SST back in, JWH, Cordner and Radley once Friend returns, not to mention Chrichton, Aubbs and Liu, his minutes are bound to drop.

Crichton is a PPM machine but his minutes could also suffer if he stays on the bench once Roosters are full strength.

The thing is I have actually spent so much time going over a fair few different scenarios. The only other way that would benefit me that I have found would be to bypass Fainu. Go Xerri/Watson > Arey/Burns this week and then Martin > 700K. Would leave 1 trade, no money and a Twal/Crichton as my 17th man.

I don't know what Robinson is thinking, but I reckon Crichton will be starting again soon. Feel like he wanted to give him a bit of a rocket/get him more involved by playing a middle role for a couple of weeks while they had players out injured/origin/etc

I definitely prefer this option
You can look at it like you are essentially trading Twal/Crichton to Matterson/Jturbo. I don’t think that is worth the trade

Admire your guts and its certainly a tactic to consider but for me there's just too high a chance that there are two major outs in one week.

Yeah the more I look; this tactic makes the most sense. I think Arrow/Klemmer/Twal/Crichton are pretty strong to finish with and I can loop with Burns depending on when they play in the round. I will still have plenty of cover and that trade just in case. Jake T BE is something like 63 so he might even lose a little bit of cash in the next 2 weeks to drop around 710-715K. I am predicting Martin scores 45 against Titans. This will get him to about 500K and I currently have 213K left after trades. So thanks MS and others, I think we have found the light at the end of the tunnel.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 68
What would be your top 17 POD team for the run home?
Butcher has been mentioned if he gets his minutes, Crichton an outside chance to continue keeper level scores... Maumalo scoring tries for fun... Ese'ese maybe locked down a starting spot with good minutes?

Moses in the halves if Eels can go on a run into the finals, Wighton at the back if he keeps posting these bomb scores, Klemm dog on the bench, Lodge the ultimate POD with a 6 game avg of 54.83.
