    Pre-TLT trades;

    Martin > Fainu
    Xerri > Burns

If no Ponga team would be
    Cook
    Fifi Haas
    Tolo Murray Taupau
    SJ Watson
    Bateman Nikora
    Teddy Drinkwater Burns
    CS9 CM9 Fainu SST
    Mann Walters Brittain Ponga

If no teddy Watson to WFB and Mann to HLF.

R18 will be Watson to my final HLF (Arey/DCE) and then R21 will be Fainu to around 850K

    Final team:
    Cook
    Fifi Haas
    Tolo Murray Taupau
    SJ (Arey/DCE)
    Bateman Nikora
    Teddy Ponga Drinkwater
    CS9 CM9 SST NPR
    850K Burns Mann NPR

0 trades  easy does it. Plenty of cover. Sit back and watch the charge home. My only problem is there are a lot of similar teams.

Right now I can trade CNK to Cook with $11k to spare.

If Cook don't play this week, do I trade him in anyway - because if CNK loses more than $11k and Cook stays the same, I'm stuffed (this would be my 2nd last trade, so if I need to downgrade to fund Cook, I am tradeless)
I'm in a similar situation, I'm looking to upgrade Watson to Cook next round with $15k to spare. I would like it if Cook gets half a game this week and I also need Watson to get close to his BE

I think Watson would be at long odds hitting his BE.

Although Cook real long odds hitting his BE.

Could you get Reynolds instead of Fainu this week
And sell Watson for Butcher next week

That gives you an extra trade for cover because I don't think you could possibly finish the run home without a trade

Not a fan of Butcher yet aye, needs a more concrete spot/minutes. I did tickle the idea of getting Arey this week but I kind of think no chance in getting inside top 250-200 and I would have plenty of cover to cover for any short term injuries or suspensions with players who are not full nufties. Will only have 0 trades from R21-25 so I am happy with that.

Except both games on friday aren't fantasy relevant.

With that few trades left I wouldn’t be grabbing anyone that isn’t final 17 worthy
Fainu will need a miracle to still be relevant by round 21. Great if you have a heap of trades left, not so great if it leaves you 0

I'm going to live on the edge and wait until next round, Cookie should have a similar game like round 13 if he doesn't get rested for the Saturday game.

Koro back in R21 thats why he would be a trade then and still has 200K to make

I would like Cook to not play but don't see it happening.

Yeah, Knights against the Dogs. He could post a good score. Might make me hold him one more week.

Making 200k is no good to you when you have 2 of your final 17 out for the season and can’t move them on. Being able to go from a Haas to a Twal If an injury were to happen(rather than playing someone like Mann as a replacement) is worth way more points than the 200k

Similar thing happened last year with Koro expected back and he just never came back. Was a keeper for people right until the end. I'm gonna cross my fingers the same thing happens this year.

Tbh I would hold trades this week. Still plenty of time to go this season, they will be very valuable when fantasy throws up our next curveball

If Haas injury were to occur I would have SST/Taupau to cover and then Burns,850K (probably Matterson or Jurbo) to come onto the bench? Mann would only be cover if i were to lose a hlf but even still I could chuck Ponga/Drinkwater up to HLF and play Burns at WFB.

I see the problem with running with 0 trades for the last 5 weeks and I don't want to sound like I am not taking anyones advice because I am and I really value everyones opinion and thoughts but I would rather finish with a strong 18-19 players and 0 trades and plenty of cover and hope I stay safe for 5 weeks, rather than finish with an ok 15-16, shitballs 17-21 and have 2 trades just in case.

This week definitely shaping up as the more I know, the less certain I am. Every choice seems the wrong one. And haven’t even got to teamlists and the inevitable dozen in doubt or rested origin players yet...

The beauty of this game is we all have our own strategy and opinions and no one really knows what is right until it has already happened

Whichever way you go best of luck mate
