Someone talk me out of trading Ponga for Fifi. Means I can turn Lomax into Burns and then I don't have to play Coates.

You'd be trading out a WFB that has scored below 50 exactly once since shifting back to the No.1 position. Running without a very consistent and high owned WFB is an uphill struggle you're unlikely to conquer.

Since moving to FB Ponga has actually averaged 60 points a game. Knights will be playing finals footy this year so they will be firing in this back end of the year.
With Tigers x 2, Eels x 1, Cowboys x 1, Titans x 1, Panthers x 1 he has the chance of picking up big scores.
These are his average against these teams at FB
    Tigers - 56.5
    Eels - 60.5
    Cowboys - 55
    Titans - 74
    Panthers - 50

If Ponga is fit, you'll regret it.
If Ponga misses more than just this week it might be worth it.

Thanks guys, you are right. Didn't realise their run was so good. Will look at Fifi another way. Maybe even wait til next week and get him in for Watson. That seems more sensible.

I saw Ponga talking on League Life last night and he said he'd be back for the Roosters game.

Paix was mentioned over the last few days as a cash out option.

QLD have confirmed their side for tonight and he is playing. So won't be a late in for the Broncos (well, incredibly unlikely unless an injury occurs at training).

The U20s teamlists are pretty strong for tonight, should be a good game.

There fixture looks like it would be great for a PROP. Klemmer looking really juicy for my final gun next week.

I either have to burn another trade to bring in Burns for Brittain or play with 16 this week with Teddy and Ponga out. What should I do? The first option kills my bank too meaning I won’t be able to upgrade SJ,Mahoney etc if need be

I know Burns is a popular trade, but you could take a punt on a cheap WFB and hope they jag a couple of tries.

Any interest in Surgess as an 18th man or somesuch? He is dirt cheap. Can his run of atrocious scores be somewhat explained by his shoulder injury?

Seems weird he's just been no presence on the field at all. Not sure if they have changed the way they play or if he's injured. But at his price, he's a decent punt.

Pondering taking a punt. Between him and fainu this week for my team.

    Does anyone think I NEED to trade. 6 trades but only 6K;

    Smith
    Taupau Haas
    Murray Tolo Bateman
    Watson SJ
    Xerri Nikora
    RTS Coates CNK

    Cook MC9 Mahoney Fainu

    Teddy Ponga Lomax Brittain

Thinking running with this for this week and hope Murray backs up. I do like Burns and not keen on Xerri against the Storm. Lomax to Yeo is a decent shout. Besides double trading for Fifi I can't see anything that would put me behind in the scoring this week. I guess tonight could change things depending on what happens.

Surgess will be a fall back if I run out of money and need cheaper coverage.

Rapana with out BJ is the concern I think. Not the BJ was noted ball passer, but they def fed off each other and multiple threats like that generally is mutually beneficial.
