Probably not
The top 4 actual centres (excluding Nikora and Bateman) average 43.6, 43.6, 41.7, 41.4
If your exclude his injury game, Burns is averaging 50.7 from 3 games. This is a small sample size and I don’t think it’s sustainable. I may be wrong but I think Burns will average 45 at the most. He is still great value at 443k, I just can’t see him averaging 50 by the end of the season
MilfordTheMagician wrote:Milf will be playing half injured and at FB, probably not the best trade in honestly.

Last two game average is still 50+.
There is so much buy-high sell-low going on this year.

EDIT: Apparently Napa has been flown into camp.

We should hear more soon enough, but I reckon he might go back into the halves while we have no other fit halfbacks.
Darius in the post game on Sunday did sound resigned to moving to 6, but Darius + Turps in the halves sounds awful.

Maybe, but doesn't eliminate the fact he isn't 100%.

Oh, there is no way I'm trading him in.
But as the sole player who can kick a ball, he should kick 600m.
People who held him would be happy.

-Milford trained at fullback.
-Coates trained at right centre. nice
-Isaako is back and trained right wing.

If he’s averaging 45, isn’t he pretty much second tier centre at a much lower cost than alternatives, with dual position cover?
Tier one: Bateman
Two: Nikora, Mitchell, Burns?, Marsters
Three: everyone else average high 30s and inconsistent as
I’ve been looking at Xerri/Mann to cashout to get one last gun.
I wasn’t even considering Nikora to Burns plus cash to get a gun, now I’m thinking it’s not a bad move if I do that plus have Xerri as cover. which I think is the opposite effect you were intending lol.
Small sample size sucks, but two 80 min games last year were also 43 and 50, and we make big calls on far less sample all the time **coughjazz55+avgcough**

I think they'll average out pretty similar between now and the end of the season. Turbo has the better fantasy output, but is likely to pick up a niggle, I put him in the high risk player group (together with Dugan, Arey, Roache, Griffin and SJ)
