In deouihi's only game at FB he scored 47... Not bad for 381K. Too late in the season to take that risk though.

SJ will end up averaging around 50 for the year (minus his injury). Will probably score a 55 against storm then a 40 and then a 62 just for shits and gigs! Stress less champions. Humanity will be restored.

Nikora > Burns isn’t a bad trade and it gives you an extra 134krobelgordo wrote:
If he’s averaging 45, isn’t he pretty much second tier centre at a much lower cost than alternatives, with dual position cover?
Tier one: Bateman
Two: Nikora, Mitchell, Burns?, Marsters
Three: everyone else average high 30s and inconsistent as
I’ve been looking at Xerri/Mann to cashout to get one last gun.
I wasn’t even considering Nikora to Burns plus cash to get a gun, now I’m thinking it’s not a bad move if I do that plus have Xerri as cover. which I think is the opposite effect you were intending lol.
Small sample size sucks, but two 80 min games last year were also 43 and 50, and we make big calls on far less sample all the time **coughjazz55+avgcough**
I just think it’s a bit of a sideways trade when most people are already short on trades, it just seems unnecessary

If Cook don't play this week, do I trade him in anyway - because if CNK loses more than $11k and Cook stays the same, I'm stuffed (this would be my 2nd last trade, so if I need to downgrade to fund Cook, I am tradeless)
Not confident on CNK making his BE

At this point, trading out a fit player who is part of your scoring 17 is generally a bad move. Most people don't have the trades to spare. Has to be a big points upgrade to be worth it (ie bringing in Cook, Trbo, Fifita, etc)
Even trading out an injured player in your 17 can be a waste (ie potentially Milford)

I'm sure he will miss this week because he's in my team. Whoever I trade in lately gets injured a week or two later (Arey, Dearden, Milford) to name a few.

I'm thinking Nikora to Burns to go Mahoney or Watson to Fifita.

If cook doesn’t play, so we assume that Brittain comes in?

I only have four trades left and i think i need to hold them. I cant find a way to bring anyone useful in without using two.

Better to be safe than sorry
CNK has scored under his current BE (37) in 2 of his last 3 games and 4 of the last 6

Nikora to Burns and Mahoney to Fifita looks a bit sideways.
48.3 Nikora + 50.5 Mahoney
vs.
~40 for Burns + 58 Fifita.
Burns averaging 45 is a pipe dream imo. Latrell's the only true CTR that's gone close to 45 with a bunch of tries and goalkicking.
Watson on the other hand, I'd be fucking him off asap now that his HK run has come to an end.

Latrell averaged 44.7 last year, that's the closest any true CTR has gone to 45 for a season.
If Bird had played more than 9 games, his average would've been closer to 40 than 45.
Can increase Bird's sample to 13 games if you count the 4 CTR games from last season, where he scored 10, 37, 16 and 21.

When it's a trade to get say for example Xerri 495K avg 37.7 and CTR for Burns 443K avg 50.67 (without injury game) and WFB/CTR coverage is worth it in my opinion.

Yeah, I'm not looking at the full picture I think, just looking to get Fifi back ASAP but it can wait a week.
I would like to keep Mahoney but means I have 4 hookers but his scoring is keeper level so I'm torn a bit there.
Watson was a dumb trade two weeks ago, but if Ponga is out, I'll need him again.

Don't get how you can say this? Burns average playing CTR for 80 minuts us 50.5 from 4 games and that is with 1 try. I believe he can average 45 for the season. Has a low of 39 at centre... yes that 20 game will come but he also has 3/4 games 39 and above, plays on the best attacking edge in the game arguably, and has the ability to pump out a massive game. Records are made to be broken ladies and gents. Latrell averaged 45 by hitting 60's and 20's. Burns may get it by hitting 40's and 50's.

More than likely covering for Shiba. Not game enough to take the gamble although he did look good. Maybe first game nerves are gone he can come good... especially in CTR

Yeah having Fifita always feel safe. Not fun to root against.
Don't fault the Watson trade. Maybe could've gotten on slightly earlier, but it looked like he was gonna hold that HK spot for a few more weeks with Levi out til 18-20.. Early returns have been a theme this year.
