I already have Fainu otherwise I'd definitely grab him over Surgess. I have CTR cover already so Xerri -> Surgess seems like a good shout, worst case he puts out 40s for the rest of the year covering an untradeable injury?

Rapana with out BJ is the concern I think. Not the BJ was noted ball passer, but they def fed off each other and multiple threats like that generally is mutually beneficial.

But Rapana was always so damaging taking runs out of their own end, getting easy TB's, you just don't notice him anymore.

    Cook MC9 Mahoney Fainu

    Teddy Ponga Lomax Brittain

Thinking running with this for this week and hope Murray backs up.  I do like Burns and not keen on Xerri against the Storm.  Lomax to Yeo is a decent shout.  Besides double trading for Fifi I can't see anything that would put me behind in the scoring this week.  I guess tonight could change things depending on what happens.

If it helps my time is exactly the same as yours except I have Fifita instead of Mahoney. And a 212k player instead of lomax.

    I also have 320k itb.

I’m looking at Watson and Xerri to Munster and jurbo. Leaves me 3trades and 2k left over. Probably will do it.

I’m not sure how Watson will go, but his low score last week made me want him gone.

Ponga is another concern. I thought of trading him out last week for matterson knowing he was likely out this week too. But didn’t, if he misses any More games you regret not selling as soon as he was injured. He will be very hard to not own when he returns to full fitness, when ever that is.

I still would consider trading him.

Recovering 6weeks early from an injury probably slows you down somewhat.

But I think his runs are less damaging with out bj sniffing around for a redic offload, and vis versa.

I got 16 atm if Brittain doesn't play, so I'm hoping Cook gets a rest.
I've got a soccer game on Saturday afternoon so I probably won't have a chance to do a last minute trade before the Bunnies game.

I think you've nailed it here. On Surgess I think I'd be more tempted by Yeo.

    Final team assembled

    Cook
    Fifita Haas
    Taumalolo Murray SST
    Cleary SJ
    Bateman Nikora
    Teddy RTS TTrbo

    Smith
    McInnes
    AFB
    Ponga

    Martin
    Burns
    Mann
    Coates

A massive 1 trade left, so running with this unless injury hits

Not as strong as what I was aiming for even a month ago, but this was a tough origin series for injuries.

Torn between Smith and Tolo for captain. Smith playing his 400th, you'd expect everyone to step up and it be a riveting game. Smith should be set for at least 60. Tolo on the Centy Coast, against the Roosters middle who can miss a fair few tackles at times. Bench is worrying for his minutes but still should see at least 60-70 minutes plus the week off will be good.

EDIT: Might even chuck Haas in there. Haas might be able to find a truck load of metres against the Warriors. Will hate seeing the Blue run out tonight and him not being there. Will want to show he should be there next year.

EDIT EDIT: Tolo 6 game average of 76 is too good to go past! Especially a 2PM game on a fast track on the Central Coast with Cows needing to find 5th gear!!!

That's unreal our teams are near identical.  I thought about Lomax to a cashie and then Mahoney to Fifita.  Means I can move Taupau back to the bench for cover.  Ponga I'm torn on.  Mahoney a great scorer too and putting up keeper scores so it's hard to let him go.

Edit: I would probably do those trades too mate.

All the best, Milchy. Looks like a full 21 which will help with holding that trade as long as you can.

    Differences to my team:

    Cleary vs Pearce
    AFB vs Taupau
    TTurbo vs Brooks

    Martin vs Maranta
    Mann vs Brittain

TTUrbo all over Brooks, Cleary should outscore Pearce and I've basically got two red dots where you've got cover outside the 17.

3 trades left for me. I think about $100k so I can upgrade if a trade requires it rather than potentially needing two trades to bring a decent player in.

Not happy I'm 1k short of Watson to Munster. Don't really want to burn another trade cashing out Brittain for it. Anyone else looking at DCE or Arey? DCE rough as of late and hurts he's lost goal kicking, ARey looks better but will probably break down again...

Brittain is just such an awkward one. If he doesn't play this weekend, he's been a failure of a trade. Doesn't matter if he plays a game down the track unless Cook doesn't play (unlikely) and any extra cash he makes is pretty irrelevant if you've only got a couple of rounds left.

Not worth trading him for $60k unless you REALLY need that cash.

Both DCE and ARey could be good options for the run to the finals. Wouldn't turn my nose up at them at all! I say do it. If DCE bounces back now that he says he's 100% over his injury, he could be a special... and we know ARey is basically a keeper level half, just needs to stay injury free.

I went into DCE in quite some detail a couple pages back. Since his injury he has dipped in Kick metres and metres gained (correlating in TB's) quite dramatically. PLus the loss of goal kicking doesnt help. Probably relates to him not being "100%" so now he is so called back to 100% he may Find these stat areas pick up as he is more confident with his ankle and kicking and running. Arey is a cheap 53-55 point half that has a pretty high floor and a decent ceiling. With Rabbitohs getting some senior players back over the next couple of weeks they will look to be firing into the finals. Both great options and both will be around 680K next week.

Looking at Naden as a potential cashie under 300K. I know his scores the first two games are poor with tries but seems to be finding his feet and secured the spot for the year. One to think about. I could get him for Lomax which means I can turn Mahoney into Fifi.

I looked at Naden as a cashout/backup option. The only annoying thing is that he plays friday night.

With a fully fit squad I'll have Ponga, Teddy, RTS and CNK as WFB options, and possibly Milford.
That's 5 WFBs before adding Burns.

Seems like overkill. Don't know whether to flag it and regroup in RD18

    Thoughts?

How many trades have you got left?

Who would be in your top 3 WFB and would you be playing Milf and Ponga both in your halves?
Annoying that CNK is one of the few of those playing this weekend yet he'd probably be the one you trade out if you could. :/

    HLFs: Ponga, Milford, SJ, Brooks
    WFBs: Ponga, Teddy, RTS, CNK

Atm I'd probably be looking at

    Milf, Brooks
    Ponga, Teddy, RTS

    SJ, CNK as backups

Only 4 trades left mate. So in a bit of trouble.
