Reminds me of all the 'every four year cricket fans' over here complaining that the Blackcaps were robbed. That's cricket people, shit happens and we move on

Wait so Tigers got 25 bad calls against in 160 mins of footy, and zero in their favour?
I reckon the refs generally make the least errors per decision made of anyone on the field.

I’m not saying we got 0 calls in our favour but I am 110% sure we got less than 25 calls in our favourrobelgordo wrote:Wait so Tigers got at least 25 bad calls against in 160 mins of footy, and zero in their favour?

Interesting. I would've thought he'd have been about half of that.

I don't have a strong opinion either way, but it is interesting to see a lot of the posters on the warriors forum aren't very keen on tevaga.

Losing by no runs on a technical rule is not "butchering it".
I think there is a lot of discussion to be had around a lot of the things that happened towards the end of game.
I don't think the majority are saying we were robbed, more uncomfortable in the fashion that victory was decided but still accepting that it wasn't us that raised the cup on the day.
Saying "end of discussion" after a contest like that is a bit on the naive side.

Tigers were never winning that game regardless of the refs.

Errors/missed tackles/footy smarts are some generalised opinions

He did seem to have more impact coming off the bench I guess.

If you take out Parramatta’s 3 penalty goals (#1, #4, #11) and their try that came from Ferguson putting his foot into touch (#6) the scores are 18-18

He is one of those players who is worth the errors/penalties. He's a Maloney, not a Blair.
His x-factor is undeniable and he's a workhorse.
As a Warriors supporter, I'm only worried about the workload breaking him.

End of discussion was a bit harsh, best game of cricket I'm ever likely to see. Far too much time spent on the ending I agree.
Fact of the matter is it shouldn't have got that far. Boults brainfade on the boundary was the nail in the coffin for me, that gets practiced everyday and no professional player should mess that up. Guptills stoneface reaction said it all.
Anyway sorry for bringing it up.

No need to apologise, bro!
You're right, Boult stepping on the boundary was the first time that game broke me. We had it in the bag if he stays inside the rope/throws it to himself or Guppy. We still could've/should've won it without the bat-of-God moment. There are a number of 'what ifs' there near the end.
There were a number of moments that we could've played better but also a number of moments of briliance without which we would never have been in the race.
