SJ was in good spirits when talking on the news tonight. If he's only marginal to be starting he hid it well.
    _____
Johnson laughed off comments from his former captain and Kiwis teammate Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, who said the Sharks half could expect some sore shoulders.
“(I’m) Ready for it man. can’t wait. Roger can expect some floaters,” a laughing Johnson said.
In an ominous warning, Johnson said he was finally returning to full fitness after a season where he’s been plagued by injuries.
“With niggles in my quad, hammy, groin, lower back, it all contributes to not being able to have that power or that balance to push off but it’s all part of the journey bro, and I’ve always said that,” Johnson said.
“(I’m) Really starting to feel like I’ve got my feet under me now, just feeling balanced, feel like I can push off both feet, and not actually thinking about other things so it’s a really good feeling actually.”

Same plan, have Ponga in 14-17 to cover off any surprises

This is my plan for the rest of the season. Biggest ballsmack would be if SJ is ruled out and then Ponga is rubbed out an hour from kick off again. Then I get stuck with "King" Gutho.

The above story on SJ is highly positive, though.

As noted elsewhere, though, it's a real worry going into the back end of the season with SJ. I wish I could somehow bring in DCE next week and use SJ as 18th man, but neither Mahoney or TKO are going to fund that. Used all my cash this week getting Cook and Toomaga (I could save 17K if I went with Moga instead, but that 17K doesn't change the situation at all, so I kinda want to go with this Toomaga fella).

    Interesting story? Lord no.

If you are unable to loop then I would take Thompson.

Thompson has a 6 game fullback average of 49
Nikora has a 6 game average of 39

    Players I am considering include:
    Aubbusson (I know!)
    Naden
    Lichaa
    Tapine
    Borris

Happy for them to be a boom or bust player as I can put them in the loop. Any thoughts appreciated thanks fellas
I'd probably go Yeo who is exactly 398k

Is it stupid to sell Nikora to RTS when it would leave me with no CTR cover and 3 trades left? RTS surely scores 10+ points a game more than Nikora in the run home

Not for me especially not long term, Thompson won't keep up that average. Thats elite WFB level

Nikora in a shitty patch and still averaging overall over 45, his form upturn is due!

Here are the players on track to become available in a second position: Anthony Milford (HLF, WFB), Darius Boyd (WFB, HLF), James Fisher-Harris (2RF, FRF), Jai Whitbread (2RF, FRF), Isaah Yeo (2RF, CTR).

The following players could become dual position depending on the round 19 team lists: Herbie Farnworth (WFB, CTR), Jake Turpin (HOK, HLF), Brett Morris (WFB, CTR), Adam Doueihi (HLF, WFB).

Yeo, Milford, JFH will be juicy with those DPP's next year!
