I've had to keep JFH & Whitbread & they are going alright but at least they will provide extra depth becoming dpp's next week.

Yeo, Milford, JFH will be juicy with those DPP's next year!

Surely Latrell becomes it too, he’s played and been named in the final team lists at half a half a dozen times

I agree but I think they view new dpp players as players who have made a permanent move to the new position. The thing with Latrell playing in the halves was he was only filling in for an injured player so it's not like a permanent new position.

    Kearney on Tevaga:

"What he offers is intensity and enthusiasm either starting or coming off the bench."

Yeo hasn’t made a permanent move to centre though and was an injury filler there. Perhaps they should have an explicit criteria, like NRL CEO does for their draft leagues?

Milf is the big one. Really wish I had him, or could get him, he goes from being one of half dozen great half options to an absolute keeper as WFB (provides he remains primary kicker).

Sounds like a player destined to return to jersey #14?

Players won't necessarily start next year with DPPs that they finish this year with.

If Milford goes back to 6 over the off-season he won't be WFB next year

Here's my team with 2 trades left. I've poorly managed my teams finances this year so I'm missing out on 3-4 key players but players like JFH have hit comparable score recently so I might be able to limp to the finish haha. I will only be using my remaining trades on injuries. This is my team this week & I'll be looping Whitbread v Xerri. I'll be creative with my captain choices in the future but this week I like Smith with all the origin players out. My vc is Haas & really like him too so I could make a late switch captaincy switch but if I really get creative Turbo has a home game.

    Smith (c)
    Haas, Taupau
    Taumalolo. Murray, JFH
    SJ, Watson
    Nikora, Bateman
    Turbo, RTS, Tedesco

    Cook, Twal, CHK, Whitbread
    Xerri, Munster, Dearden, Brittain

2 trades left, not using unless emergency or until Fainu benching. Tossing up between Smith and Lolo as captain. Want to make up about 1000 places by the end of the year, not sure if that’s realistic

    Smith
    Fifita Haas
    Lolo Taupau Murray
    ARey Ponga
    Bateman Nikora
    Teddy RTS Wighton

    Cook McInnes Fainu SST
    SJ
    Burns Mann Kerr

I don’t trust SJ so starting Wighton over him this week. Ideal scenario would be Kerr left out before kickoff and if SJ is firing in the early Fri night game, move Kerr up to 17.

I think it also depends on how long that player spent at that position and also if they had other options in that position on their team list that they were starting over. For example the Roosters - Lam, Lamb, Keary, Cronk were all unavailable and Hutchison was their only other available half. With Panthers - Yeo was ahead of McGrady, J. Cartwright (listed as CTR on the Panthers site) and Naden (at times).

Just my opinion though that this may also be a criteria they judge on... also possibly how many games they spend there as Yeo spent half the year it feels at CTR (ie, Yeo will be first choice CTR come next injury).

I understand your logic sitting out SJ but players up against their old clubs usually lift to stick it to their ex team mates.

Milford getting 20+pts from KM's, plus the TB's, the run metres and any other attacking stats he gets are gold.

That's too hard to differentiate as they both can score 100 on their day. Sure Milford has the added km's that Turbo doesn't but Turbo does play like an extra half at times & gets his hands on the ball a lot.
Also bro you have a kick ass team as I found out in our h2h last week so I think you could pick either.

I'm torn between Milford and Moses - as you mention he has the mass KM but how many points does he lose when SOS & Dearden return and he likely shares or only takes small role of kicking

Think Moses is safest option, in hindsight should have bought before Origin

You would think when Dearden returns Milf would lose quite a few kick metres.

Kearney deserves the sack if he drops Tevaga to the bench in his current form.
