I think Paix will have a shot at 6/7 next year, plus whoever the Broncos decide to try and recruit in the off season.

Yeah more critical that it’s Milf in his 2014 position and Darius Boyd is somehow still playing rugby league

Im hoping when Dearden and SOS are both fit, then Boyd will slide out to left centre.

SOS actually looked good in the game he got injured. He looked much better playing his natural left side too.

I really hope we dont try make Boyd a 6. Hoping its just a bit of media fluff atm and he moves out to centres once we have some actual halves fit.

Once Isaako gets out of his slump I would go
    1. Isaako
    2. Oates
    3. Staggs
    4. Bird
    5. Coates
    6. Milford
    7. Dearden
    9. McCullough
    14. Turpin

Yeo is surely only 1 backline injury away from playing centre though.

That is truly a quite hideous spine.

That's what happens when you waste 1.5 mil on centres and whatever Boyd is on.

I'm thinking this way too. Although worried about an early shower and loss of point due to not needing to tackle.

    Although Titans may somewhat turnup.

Thinking of trading Nikora for cashout to Wakeham, running Bateman and Burns in centres , and only Staggs as backup 🔥

McCullough is past his best, Turpin needs to be the hooker going forward imo. Or buy another one.

THe buy another one bit is tricky. There aren’t that many going around - and lots of clubs would be chasing them: NQL, WST, BRI, PEN, NEW are all looking for spares.

I'm hoping John Morris is showing Nikora all these comments that he's getting traded out as motivation because with 1 trade left I don't have the luxury of trading out a CTR averaging 47.2 for the year (albeit 5 game average of 37). I've got bigger problems than trading out a CTR who's guaranteed to get 30+ every week from tackles and RM and only needs a couple of TBs and to minimise large MT counts to hit 45+

There never seems to be a half/hooker available to buy when it comes to Brisbane... it's the two areas we have seriously failed in filling the past few years.

He has to bounce back. Just has to, surely?

That's why they need to get games into these youngbloods like SOS, Dearden, Paix to get them NRL experience.

Cam Smith may be available. Oh that's right, Brisbane missed that boat a long time ago! Razz

They don't have a choice now. We have the best young forwards in the league and the club is hoping they can drive us to success. Players like Boyd/McCullough/Glenn are just about done for.
