Of course mate! You can have Johnny's place. Razz

Nah seriously, hang around here in preseason next year, we open registration a few weeks before round one and finalize leagues about a week before. We have an overall group which includes all our forum members and then we have H2H leagues, I think, without checking we had enough for about 11 leagues this year. Which league you are in is decided by the previous year's overall rank although you'd be in the newcomers leagues in your first league here.. You'll get great advice on here from people smarter than me.

    @rabbits21

Sorry, about delay in response. But nah, I wouldn’t make those trades. Fifita to teddy isn’t a bad shout, but at this stage those sorts of trades really fuck up team balances, and I’m sorry I didn’t take the time

Thanks mate, I probably could’ve had a solid 18th and 19th man but I went with top range options, like eg I could’ve went with Shaun Johnson at about 540k but wanted DCE for 700k.

In my first year playing my rank was around 11k, last season around about 7k, and now in top 600 in my third year.

The one thing I regret from early in the season was going Host over Lawrie, aaaarrrrgggghhhhhh.

Are you playing for both overall and head to head too?

Yeh I may not get Fifita back in, I, keeping an eye on how Matterson will go at lock too and how many minutes he will get, he has less than 10percent ownership whilst J Turbo has 30percent ownership, Matterson could be a bit of a POD option when I need to trade Tevaga out.

In one of the leagues I’m in on a Bunnies forum there is like 6 celeb teams in a 16 man league, I’m currently 7th but play CK and Lone Scout in rounds 20 and 21 which could be a big problem lol.

In another head to head league I’m in I am coming 2nd.

I think I’d be keen to join one on here for 2020 if I can when it comes around.

Yeah mate I play both overall & h2h. You're making great strides re your rank each year improving. You will get into our leagues next year easy bro. Just stay on the forum for the rest of the season because you will get great advice on here & it's all about helping you get as high as possible in the ranks because your end rank is important. Then next year pre season just pop on & at some stage you can register for the h2h leagues & overall league. Your overall rank determines which league you are in so make sure you note down what rank you end up. That's how we determine the leagues based on where you finished the previous season.

Isn't there that nrl fantasy unwritten rule that never captain a back coming off a monster score. But the thing is Tedesco is playing the Bulldogs & this points to another boom score by Tedesco.

Yeah I'll be going one of Smith, Haas, Lolo or maybe, for the first time this year, Cook.

Yeah i think youre better off trying to get the right captain out of these guys. Something I cant manage to do.

Cook can have one or two big plays and he is in banner territory. Same for haas and Lolo.

I’ll hang around don’t worry I love Fantasy.

That’s fine with me if I start off in a newcomers league, could give me a good shot to ace that league ahahahaha and move right up for the year after.

I see it like this though... Roosters and Knights were pretty neck and neck all game last week and one team needed someone to grab the game and run with it. That was Teddy for the Roosters... He did all the running and sparked the Roosters into that last 10 minutes thrashing. Against a team like the bulldogs players like Mitchell, Keary, Teddy will all most likely be sharing the spark around and Teddy may not be required to do as much.

Just feel like doing it for fun. Everyone will be captaining Haas, Cook or Tolo and I feel like going for a bit of a PODdy pick - someone who can go big - like Ponga. Every other week it would be one of the other options, just a shot in the dark for some hopeful late season climbing.

Article in SMH 23/07/19 saying that Api Koroisau has been given permission to negotiate with other clubs even though he has two years remaining on his contract.
" Fainu started off his career as the bench back up for Koroisau but it appears those roles will be reversed when both are fit" by Adrian Prozenko.

Still means Api might get 20 to 30 minutes anyway. Manly have to pay for the Turbo brothers somehow.
