If you cant decide then I would base things on averages, let the numbers do the work for you.

Alternatively, the way I would look at it is to think about how much risk you are willing to take.

Staggs averages less than 37 but as we saw last week he can put up a 60+ score as well. If you are trying to make up ground and can handle the gamble, then go with him. If you are more risk averse and just want to maintain your current ranking, then better off going Nikora.

CNK averages 43, and he's only gone under 30 twice this season. I would roll with him to be honest. Unless you are absolutely not wanting to take any risks.

It's funny because at 40, I was all set to keep Nikora. If CNK doesn't score a try he's unlikely to go much past that. But dropping under 40 crosses a psychological barrier, and now I'm feeling kore like taking the punt on CNK

The psychology of it comes into it for sure, but if you put that aside, and assuming you arent completely risk averse on this one, the numbers speak for themselves I reckon.

out of 17 games CNK has 40 or more 10 times.

Of those 10, he's scored tries in half of them, so not the case that he's need a try to get past 40.

And in fact, of the 5 times he's scored tries and gotten over 40 he's put up the following fantasy totals:

71, 41, 53, 59, and 73

so it looks like he might have scored over 40 in the majority of those even without a try.

The clincher for me though is that he has some big numbers in there!

I'd be rolling with CNK for sure - unless its wet!

The other factor is CNK finishing with a big limp last week. He played the whiole 80, and there's been no updates or anything on it, so I assume it was nothing serious, but I'll be spewing if he goes down early.

As it stands though he is currently in my 17 and Nikora will only count if someone else drops out

I'd probably take a punt, if Staggs stays on the right side (ie Glenn is named in final 17 at centre).

I think Staggs is pretty safe for a 25 minimum against the Titans, but could easily push out a 50 or 60. He has been pretty consistent in the mid to high 20s, in a crappy side, I think he is far more dangerous when he plays on the right side though, just looks more natural there.

So to me, you're gambling up to 12 points for a possible return of 25+ ish

I've got Xerri or Staggs myself, and I'll be banking the 48.

Was about 150 at the start of the round. A gap that doesn't look like closing any time soon. Key differences are (me) Tommy T, Milford & RTS (and Xerri's 50 with Fifita out) vs (him) Ponga, Burns, Tevaga/Twal/Brooks/CNK (he may of traded one of these as well)

Completely random question, but something I just noticed this morning. Are there a few chaps here in the H2H league called League of Ordinary Lads? There’s a few familiar names in there.

Anyway, anyone notice I allegedly won an elimination final last week, yet have been eliminated anyway? Lol. As far as I can see it was 1075 vs 1067 last week yet I’m gone?

Obviously, as I’ve just noticed this now this league doesn’t matter, but it does make me concerned about my $$$ league and if that were to happen there. Anyone experienced this before?

Is anyone still enjoying the "I'm offended" jokes ?
