I hate the broncos, but I’m loading up @1.80. The cowboys are a special bread of shit at the moment.

I'm on board the McInnes captain hype train, just don't see the upside in Lolo and Haas, while McInnes is running at the Titans and their shitty defence, I'm backing him in for at least a TA/LBA if not a try of his own.

I think with Arrow back in the squad that will change the dynamic of the Titans a fair bit. I still think they lose but not by as much as we all think they will. They still have a good game in them here and there and Dragons are absolute tripe.

Using my last 2 trades. Not been a great season so not fussed. 2912th atm. Have reasonable cover except FRF

    Fainu+Lawrie > Yeo+Bateman. Essentially 18th man is 1 from Tevaga/Burns/Mahoney via loops

HOK CS9 CM9 Mahoney Tevaga (Brittain)
    FRF Haas Fifi Taupau
2RF  Lolo Taupau Bateman Yeo Nikora Tevaga
    HLF SJ Milf Ponga (Walters)
CTR Bateman Yeo Nikora Burns (Lomax)
WFB RTS Teddy Turbo Ponga Burns (Lomax)

Acceptable use of last trades? Could get Cook instead of Bateman but prefer extra 2RF/CTR cover

I think the Titans will jag a couple of wins in the run home. Just hopefully not this weekend.

Captaining Haas tonight. Granville struggles over the 80 and misses on average 2.3 tackles a game. Seibold needs the Broncs to win for a run at the finals and Haas being on the field as long as possible will do it. Furthermore, Broncos and Cowboys are historically close games and come down to the wire, meaning, both team will probably be using their forwards A LOT around the 65-70th minute mark to get that go forward up the middle to set up for a field goal, so Haas/Lodge and co. will probably need to take 1-2 runs a set during this period (obviously in the case it comes down to the wire). I wouldn't be surprised to see big Haas find the line either as Cowboys tend to get a little lazy in the middle on their own line. Lastly, I am of the thinking this game will either be a close one; hence, the thought that the forwards will play a big part in the game as it closes out or the Broncos will win quite easily, meaning Haas may see a lot of return ball (20-30 metres at a time) from kick offs.

Haas hasn't really had a chance to score the past couple of weeks. Before that we seemed to be giving him ball close to the line more, hope we go back to that this week.

I think the upside is they are the two highest scorers in fantasy NRL this season, with floors above 50 pts per game.

But I do see how you could roll with McInnes this week. I think he’s now in the weekly captaincy conversation with the usual suspects, since he’s expanding his attacking game.

Does Leilua help the Raiders or Hinder them. They have been doing so well without him. Does his Tenacity add another aspect to Leipana or does his arrogance affect the team mould.

Apparently Nathan Brown didn't train yesterday and will need to train in the captain's run on Friday to play you'd imagine.

Might have to play Pearce or Burns again Mad

Vintage Nathan Brown. Minor ankle complaint about to turn into six week layoff.

(I bought him last week too, of course)

I say that about Lolo and Haas because I'm usually very much the attacking player with my captaincy picks. I don't think either Haas or Lolo will get over 60-65 whereas I can see McInnes getting more than that against that Titans defence (either a barge-over try or a TA/LBA to a prop), and has just as good base as those two anyway.

Playing safe won't push me up the ranks.
