Thanks Bethany-B and Rabbits 21. Murray does look good in the team, with Taupau the cover for FRF/2RF.

I’d love to know how many people in the top 100 have Moses and SJ in their halves..................

Lol I’m still gonna do my research I’ve got that coach predictor thing too so I’ll do my study lol....Welshy wrote:

I sense you’re just trying to play some mind games now that you’re just about 100 places behind me.
What League number are you in on here? I’ll have a guess and say L2 or L3.......
The fact is a couple of the top dogs have agreed and said what I was thinking and that is just go for Moses.
CK got Moses in last week too and if I lose my finals head to head match with him as Moses scores a 90 I’ll be so pissed.

Have appreciated your Souths insights fella.Rabbits21 wrote:
Burns has pulled up well mate and it’s looking very likely he plays on Saturday, all his tests came back clear and he’s gonna get back into full training.
Also something tells me we haven’t seen the last of the injuries yet.
As the good old saying goes, I guess sometimes you have to risk it to get the biscuit........
Many thanks.
A man unfortunately desperate for Burns to be on the pitch!

If I had the bank Moses would be in this week for Arey. Sitting 45th. SJ/Arey halves atm. Potentially switching Ponga to half and grab a forward or break Munster. Tough choice with two trades left

Hopefully in future we will be in a league the same once I start up next season.

I just had a look and only 8.19 percent of coaches own Moses.WT2K wrote:

Surely that figure will go up to the 9.5-10percent mark before the round begins.
I’m sure as you’re aware issue with Munster is when they play the Titans he’s probs rested again.
Yep I’d switch Ponga to half as there is too much doubt even if Reyno plays you’d say his scoring will be affected and since he’s been playing with that broken finger too he seems to be missing a few more tackles I’ve noticed.
Manu Ma’u could be a good POD if you don’t have him. He’s averaged around 61 the last 5 weeks.
I’ve had my eye on him this past month.

Probably the vast majority of them, including me if I pull the trigger on selling Fifita to get Moses and run with no trades in the last 4 weeks

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 78
Actually never mind, I just came up with an alternative strategy which lets me keep Fifita while getting Moses and not really losing much squad depth. The plan would be:
* DBrown to Moses (of course), funded by the other trade
* To'o to Stephen Crichton, I was looking for a WFB or CTR at 224k or less who is likely to play, and Crichton seems the most likely of the bunch, covers both WFB and CTR, and probably has the best JS of any of them since he got his spot off Whare on form rather than injury (as far as I know).
Would leave me with 8k bank, 0 trades left and the following final team for the last 4 weeks of the comp.
Cook
Haas, Papalii
Jurbo, Lolo, Murray
SJ, Moses
Latrell, Bateman
Wighton, Ponga, Teddy
CS9, McInnes, Tevaga, Munster
Fifita, Burns, S Crichton, Walters.
Thoughts?

Sounds good, but just keep in mind how injury prone Burns is.Bethany_B wrote:Actually never mind, I just came up with an alternative strategy which lets me keep Fifita while getting Moses and not really losing much squad depth. The plan would be:

I'm well aware of that, as someone who had him at the start of the year The main appeal of having Stephen Crichton there is that he somewhat hedges against Burns getting hurt again. I think the benefit of keeping Fifita in my back pocket far outweighs the risk of having both Crichton and Burns not playing in a week as well as losing one of my frontline WFB or CTRs.

Good effort but not quite the same, much harder to move rank mid season when teams all pretty similar. Hopefully you break into top 10 bro from here
Nah I'll find a way to fuck it up no sweat. Would be my first top 100 finish if I can keep it together so I'm still pretty stoked anyway

Of the top 20, 11 have SJ and Moses, 8 have just SJ, and 1 has just Moses (0 have neither)
Looking at total percentage ownership is not the best way of checking popularity of players. Only 2--30% of teams are active beyond the first few rounds, so some ownerships are skewed.
Adam Keighran is owned by 11% of players - and they aren't all people who have just traded in a bench hooker in the past 2 weeks.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 78
I think I'm going to use my last trade this round and go Drinkwater + Stockwell to Ponga + Clark.
This would be my team to finish the season:
Cook
Haas, AFB
Murray, Taumololo, JTurbo
Johnson, Munster
Bateman, Nikora
Tedesco, TTurbo, RTS
Smith, McInnes, Ponga, Verrills/Staggs/Clark (loop)
Brittain, Walters

100% due a form downturn
Huge! I traded him in round 11, which is those 10 games owned. He only scored 41 in that round 11 game too, I remember being a bit nervous about having made the trade at that point (but I think it was due to Adam Reynolds being injured). I only planned to keep him over bye period and punt him by round 17 haha
Def due a low score. It will happen.
One thing I have noticed though is his defense is much better than it used to be.

Alright, so what is everyones gut feel on Ponga's run home.. has had a few poor scores now, coupled with the Knights playing pretty busted. Will he bounce back?
The bits of games I've seen of late, he does seem a bit less involved than normal. Can still rack up plenty of phantom TBs though.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 78
Moses was one of MattNZs better predictions to start the season, he called him to be an elite averaging half I think.
