Honestly with nothing but experience to come from this match, no reason why we don't throw Curran on the bench with Perham for a bit more first grade.

Last I heard Keighran has been told to look for another club yet we're gonna play him on the bench for the last game of the season which counts for sweet FA when we've got three halves ahead of him in the pecking order and Turner coming through the ranks quickly.

    Rd 1: 1,606
    Lowest: 2,344 (Rd 3)
    Highest: 242 (Rd 24)
    Current: 282

Have spent the time from Rd17 bumgrumbling around between 250 & 500 mostly depending on the fortunes of AFB & lately D.Fifita

As I have mentioned before wasted lots of trades trading in and out injured halves. Also rushed in both Turbo & Jrbo at high prices for meh returns. Tbh I fucked my team balance up mid season rushing Cook in as well when in hindsight getting McInnnes in earlier (got him rd 17) and Cook after origin would have been the better play

@SuperCoa chNRL  and  @TomSangsterSC BIG BREAKING NEWS from  @DaveRic1  with Shaun Johnson and Matt Moylan set to face the Tigers, along with Cooma Stallion Jack Williams.

I’ve always expected Johnson to be named and probably play, there’s been no mail it’s a serious injury their season is on the line because they can’t kick goals.

Munster will be more interesting. Farah will be interesting for the one person both going to the game and who still has him in NRL fantasy (me).

    haha, yup definitely.

i actually can't believe they keep just trotting out basically the same forward pack every week. its clearly not working.

It's the same forward pack that almost beat the Storm at AAMI park earlier in the year. Only change is Jazz is starting over Burr and we have Ligi Sao and Keighran on the bench instead of Perham and Roache.

    Round 1 ranking: 8430
    Lowest ranking: 8430
    Highest ranking: 66 round 21
    Current ranking: 77

Terrible start with Holland, Edwards, Kahu and poor captain options (Macca rd 1). Like everyone else traded hard for the first six weeks, Holland lasted one week, Edwards lasted two which I think was key - Despite having no luck with captaining Fifita and James' injury scores for example I did cull the shit pretty quickly. Was still 6406th after six rounds even though I wasn't particularly unhappy with my team.

I think one of the best things I did was manage to bank a few trades after the first 6-7 weeks in the lead up to the first bye. I held guys like Bird, Garner, Lawrie longer than some and I was able to spend those extra trades aggressively through the bye period. This period was where I finally got some luck with players I didn't have like Dearden, TKO, Milford, Pearce dropping like flies.

Goes to show you can overcome a bad start if you stick with it. I was happy with my trades by and large, just need to pick a couple less duds and start with a decent captaincy option. Hoping to stay in the top 100 this week which will be a first for me. Good luck this week lads, especially MTB!

I get what you're saying but I don't know, I just thought you'd try some new things in the last round. Sao is leaving at the end of the season as well, maybe its nice to farewell him and all, but its also not like he's a great servant to the club?

Not really relevant to fantasy, but DWZ and Holland ruled out and are having surgery. Good for the Broncos I guess.

Bronco's $3.40 for 13+.... Chuck ya fucking house on it!! This just shows Pay's hand saying we give up, have a free win. $1.90 for a -4 line is also good.

    Literally just did this.

Personally I think the game last week was the last big effort for the Dogs. They had a crack, but fell short, and now their season is officially done, will probably clock off pretty early this week.

Honestly if they beat the Cows last week I wouldn't have been surprised to see them in the 8. Now their season is over I agree they will more than likely hang the boots up before the game even starts and Broncos still need to seal a win to be sure of the 8 so they will probably come out pretty hard for 60 minutes.

Over 42.5 in the Titans v Dragons game looks good too, on the gold coast, fast track, good weather, two teams  with nothing to play for. mcinnes out. Was like 38-26 a few weeks ago when they played. 42-40 incoming

I absolutely love this! The kid that was probably second... even third or fourth in line for the FB role at the Warriors, was thrown a massive lifeline very late in the pre-season by the Raiders, had to fend off a few players to secure a spot and has exceeded probably even his own expectations this year. CNK has extended his stay with the Green Machine until 2023. Well Done!

This is how my season summary reads:
    Round 1 ranking: 2602
Lowest ranking: 2602 in R1 (besides that 253 in R3)
    Highest ranking: 8th in R10 & R22
    Current ranking: 10th

Been sitting in top 100 in all but 3 rounds. I think I benefitted early on by having Captain Cook for most games and had some good patience with players like Mahoney & Garrick. R13 & R14 hurt me the most with bringing in Dearden for 0 and then in R14 selling Garrick and keeping Lomax for WFB cover only for Lomax to get injured the following day and was unable to reverse trade leaving me with 16 when Teddy was rested. Then this caused a domino effect in R15 with Ponga rested, bringing in Mann who was poor and bringing in Burns for WFB cover only for him to get injured and provide some underwhelming scores along the way

Looking at the season on average, my captain choices have been pretty good (64.95 average) but I've actually got worse recently when I've had too many choices which is quite ironic (lowest captain score of Munster 40 2 weeks ago)

I think you're spot on there. Will pretty much be an all-star type game where there is all attack and no defence.

I'm really torn on who to captain, as I'm trying to gain as many ranks as I can in the final round. I'm feeling like a POD captain but I'm not sure I have any that would likely beat Haas. My shortlist is:

    * Haas - Bulldogs have nothing to play for but that's when they're dangerous. Their defence isn't bad and I'm not sure Haas goes 80+, but is by far the safest of the picks.

    * CS9 - Against the Cowboys and with Munster likely out, he could very well get some TA/LBAs as well as his goalkicking. I'm just worried he goes off at 60 mins and 50ish points, but if he does stay on, he could very well go huge.

    * Bateman - Could jag attacking stats vs the Warriors but might not play the full 80 if they want to keep him rested for finals.

    * Teddy - Can go as big as anyone but might not get as many attacking stats against Souths.

    * Murray - Has a try or two in him but even with tries he doesn't get past the 70s while a guy like Haas gets 90+ with tries.

At the moment I have it on Haas but really want to zig while everyone else zags. If I had any trades left, I'd be buying Papenhuyzen and captaining him, but alas, I wasted too many on dumb shit

I've got it on Ponga at the moment. Bit of a nothing game with Panthers verse Knights, plus last game of the regular season so I am expecting a lot of points and a chunk of open space. Ponga could bust a few tackles and run a bit of a muck if he is in the mood.
