    That’s my current dilemma too!

Mind you if Teddy and Smith got rested I’d be down to 15.

I can’t see another viable captaincy option rather than Haas, the others are too risky!

Well, I guess bad planning has come back to bite me in the arse. Playing with 16, one of which is Lindsay Collins. 311 rank probably going to tumble arghhhh

Note to self for next season:
Don't leave any red dots for looping purposes, only loop with injured players

I missed the manly game last week, does anyone know what the reshuffle was when TTurbo went off? Did Walker go into the centres and Api into the halves with Garrick at FB?

The main thing this season has shown is that you are able to get guns at WFB severely discounted.

    Turbo - Starting price 732k, peak 766k, bottom 629k

    RTS - Starting price 654k, peak 759k, bottom 593k

    Teddy - Starting price 795k, peak 885k, bottom 685k

    Ponga - Starting price 784k, peak 814k, bottom 648k

Makes it hard to consider starting with 3 guns at the back knowing you can get a big discount

Currently ranked 113. Hoping I can fight my way into the top 100 with 17 playing this week (provided 1 of SJ or Walters gets a run)

    a) How are you going to predict when they have bottomed out
    b) How many points are you giving up whilst waiting for them to bottom out
    c) How many trades are you going to spend on your WFB

I think there is merit in picking at least one gun for the year to save on trades. And even if he drops some cash, he'll probably still be the top scoring WFB

Anyone fancy staggs against the dogs or go with pedigree in Latrell?

Papy's average at starting fullback is 69.7, lowest score is 45. I'd be taking that any day of the week, and if he keeps the starting FB spot, will definitely be in my team to start next season (Season average of 36.8 should keep his price low-ish)

I think he'll rip the cowboys a new one. Might just put the C on him

Of course my beloved CNK gets rested. Pretty sure there aren't many other in the top 10 who own him too..

When I read on Monday Ricky was going to rest players, I instantly filled with dread as I knew right away CNK wouldn't play. Kid's been banged up and needs a rest. Annoying cause I know us owners need him more than the Raiders going into finals.

    Didn't expect Bateman though.

Jeez that would be a big call. I do like Staggs chances against the Dogs though.. well I'm crossing my fingers anyway.

    Things in his favour:
    - Dogs may have clocked off.
    - Dogs backline re-shuffle, though I'm not sure who he will be opposite out of Harper and Smith.
    - Turpin back. He seemed better for Staggs than SOS. Turpin tended to just shovel the ball on to his right alot. SOS would tend to turn it back inside. I mean, its kind of clutching at straws here, but I'm just finding anything I can, to fill myself with confidence.. ahha.

The only issue is that we can still be wildly unpredictable and there's a fair chance we play like dogshit. Unlikely that is an issue for Latrell.

There is a slight temptation in me to captain Milford. But I'm pretty sure I don't have the balls.

I did this with Teddy. Wanted to grab him round 3 however waited till round 7. Basically I tried to time my WFB upgrades around B/E rather than trading in a player on a scoring run. This year I traded in Ponga, Teddy, Lomax(if he counts), RTS, Fusitu'a, Burns(back in) at different points. I wouldn't think this is above average.

As long as the rookies are serviceable this can work without losing too many points- Shout out to CNK and Sivo

Not sure if I'm even going to bother playing the last round. I have 14. Had my best start and highest rank ever this year. But lack of bye planning going to hard over the bye period left me with 0 trades for about the last 5 weeks. Lessons for next year.
