    Seibold re Haas

“He has been playing 60 minutes week in and week out and that is what we feel is his best time,” Seibold said.

“He would actually like to play more minutes. We don’t want to cook him but playing the first 30 minutes and the last 30 minutes is really working for us and we think he has been by far our most consistent performer.”

Hutchinson remaining as a reserve does not bode well for Cronk AND Keary to both play

With aubbo and Keary both being ruled out, and only for 2 players dropped from the squad, Hutchinson has to stick around, whether he is a chance or not

That's a tough one. Pearson is a reasonable chance of scoring 25 to 30 this week. The Titans vs Dragons game ~should~ be end to end with plenty of attacking chances for wingers.

Hard to tell which Latrell turns up. Xerri could really be anything from 20 to 60, again, hard to tell in a do or die game what we will get. He has been very consistent of late though.

I don't envy the decision. I'd probably get Latrell though. Maybe.

Thanks! Very Happy Was probably leaning that way, just remembered one year I had Brian Kelly in my team to come in when someone was rested/injured for the last round and he had been scoring bugger all for months. Decided to leave him in the emergencies and trade and he pulled out a 60 or something and I lost my head to head final by 20 points. Given last week I decided to forgo RTS' 41 and play Turbo I'm not sure I'm in great gambling form.....

But he played the full game last week?! Is Seibold on crack or something?

I'm not expecting it to happen, but if Lomax is fit, does he replace Pearson or Sailor? I'm guessing Sailor, but I know Lomax is next to no chance.

They’ve got nothing to play for, I reckon he replaces Pearson if fit so Sailor gets another run. But I think, like you say, he’s a very long shot.

Someone on the dragons forum claiming to have a good source that some of the young guys are annoyed to be playing the nrl game instead of the NSW CUP semi final.

I've averaged 1,005 over the last 7 rounds, which has seen me finally enter the top 5,000. I just need to figure out how not to fuck up the first few rounds of the season next year and I'll go alright.

As of now, I have 17 bodies ready to go but used 2 trades and have no backup on the bench. Let's see how many of the 17 make it to the field this round.

Your progress uo the ranks in the last six rounds or so has been unbelievable. Definitely the form player... two more weeks and you'd probably win it. I know who I'd gamble on getting a big score this week if I had a trade left, but I'm not going to tell you because I want to hit top 5 cash (currently 6th with WAG team) and am scared you could overtake me.

I didn’t realize there were prizes down to 5th! Unfortunately I think that is just out of reach, unless there are a couple more late scratchings to key players.

I see there is also a prize for highest team value for which I am currently running 3rd. Leader is also just out of reach, especially once I replace CM9 and Bateman with players worth less $ as cash in the bank doesn’t appear to be included.

On captains this week, I have to pick between 2 schools of thought.

1: Go all out and captain a POD (CS9, or maybe even Moses if I'm really bold), and pray that keeps me in the top 100 despite having 16 at best.

2: Captain Haas and pray that other people in the top 100 captain PODs and fail, but this could backfire if most top 100 teams captain Haas as well.

At the moment CS9 is my captain but I'm seriously considering going for Moses (at Bankwest against a Turbo-less Manly). What would you guys do?

i think CS9 and Haas are both great options. CS9 probably deserves more interest than he has been getting, or maybe people are just keeping it quiet.....

Im not sold on Moses. Manly will scrap hard, and I dont think Moses will get a lot of room to really score big.

    Haas is your only option.

How the Manly Parra game is played is dependent on tonight's result. Souths win and both teams are locked in 5th & 6th. Rooster's win and Manly can make the 4.

95% chance of rain forecast in Melbourne today and tomorrow. Low scoring affair, Storm will win playing basic football with CS9 getting an early shower.

It’s probably right but seems weird to me. Surely you want to play top grade, no matter what the circumstances? Like no will remember this meaningless wooden spoon battle, but that will still be more people than remember the first week of NSW Cup semis. Seems like a huge attitude problem to me.

FWIW the Dragons normally name 2 of their 4 reserves in Canterbury Cup as well, which gives a pretty solid indication of the 19 and/or possible late changes. This week Dufty not named along with Lomax, while Host and Kaufusi are. So any later change is going likely to be in the backs.

Wanting to win the competition and play beside the blokes you have toiled with all year, to be part of a team. If your first grade had that attitude it wouldn't be a meaningless game against the Panthers.
