If we have no SJ and no McInnes next week then I'm down to 15 so expect I'll slide a fair bit, potentially outside the top 200 to finish off the year.
Hoping against hope for a Lachlan Maranta call up!

I reckon Moylan will play but not SJwolfking wrote:I reckon is SJ isn't too bad, they run him out there. It's do or die for the Sharks.

Tbh, I got to where I was/am by trading HARD over byes. A few injuries around that time though, meant that I spent 2 or 3 more than I intended. I had one trade left after round 18, lol.
It is about now that I regret using my final trade on RTS to Ponga I think it has actually cost me points over the three weeks since making the trade. But that is hindsight for you. It looked like the right move at the time... I was just too worried about not owning him with Newcastle's seemingly good run of games.

I was the same, Walters and Coates were a necessity to afford final 17 players.
Walters actually did his job, scored 40 then disappeared (if he could turn up this week, that'd be nice).
Coates, in hindsight, was a shocker. Scored poorly, but the biggest problem is, he plays on the same team as Staggs, which means he locks out at the same time (and early in the week), so been useless to me in the run home.

Don't think Coates was a terrible choice at the time. There was a certain amount of evidence that a backline position for the Broncos was his to lose, but unfortunately he lost it. Otherwise he could have been a useful cover scorer or first look loop.

Brittain on reflection was a dumb decision. Killing off a spot in the first bye is not the way to play the 21-man game. Someone like To'o who was base price around the same time would have been much better.

With SJ being injured I think that makes 3 out of 4 years I've played that I've ended up with an injured SJ in my squad and no trades, I should really have learnt by now

hard to argue with his output though, average of 56.7 since round 16 (when most got him).
Hopefully get some update today on whether he might play or not this week. Although nothing I can do about it anyway.
