Oddly enough, I'm probably better off with McInnes out injured compared to those around me. Everyone has McInnes but some don't have cover (though they may have trades)..

I'd have 16, with or without Mcinnes, because I can't cover SJ at half as my 18th and 19th are Staggs and Xerri.

The only thing that upsets me re McInnes is that he didn't break his leg in the 1st 5 mins instead of the last 5 mins.

hard to argue with his output though, average of 56.7 since round 16 (when most got him).

Hopefully get some update today on whether he might play or not this week. Although nothing I can do about it anyway.

Yeah happy with his scores for sure, it was more fact about having no trades and looking at some of my awful trades throughout the year

Whitbread in R7, out R8 when not named
Dearden in R13 for a whopping 0 points
R14 one of my worst as I traded Garrick (no qualms there) and had Lomax as cover who then broke his thumb a day later and because of the way I set up my 4 trades I was left with 16 --> needed to buy Mann following round --> needed to sell Mann in R17 for WFB cover (Burns   Bang )
Trading Fifita out when first suspended and bringing back in

Turbo out I can cover with CNK. SJ or Munster out I can cover with Whitbread with Watson to the halves but if both are out I will be playing 16.

Bellamy said post match they will probably rest Munster this week, regardless. Though ideally, that they would play round 25 with the team they will play finals with.

As far as I can see, with no trades and if SJ out, Stooges has 15, you and Newy Eels have 16 and Dazlers has a full team and a real chance. Poor guy in 5th could have 7 red dots (CM9, TTrbo, SJ, Munster, Walters, Brittain, Burns)

Munster has actually been marked with the injury sign in fantasy interestingly despite team lists not being named

    Not a good sign

Jeez - hadn't looked at bloke in 5th, that's gotta hurt. Still carrying Burns, I assume he is out of trades?

Tbh, I got to where I was/am by trading HARD over byes. A few injuries around that time though, meant that I spent 2 or 3 more than I intended (obviously alot of people were affected by this too). I had one trade left after round 18, lol. Held on pretty well until the carnage came yesterday..

It is about now that I regret using my final trade on RTS to Ponga Laughing I think it has actually cost me points over the three weeks since making the trade. But that is hindsight for you. It looked like the right move at the time... I was just too worried about not owning him with Newcastle's seemingly good run of games
I traded hard to get to my best 17 as fast as possible. In the process I burned a few too many.
The carnage this week was unpredictable and will leave me with 15 odd players

I'm just glad it didnt happen two weeks ago.

Anyway, I'm relying on Xerri this week. 6 game average over 50 and lowest score in that time of 42. Please keep that up!

This TLT is actually gonna be a revelation....good to have some tension back.

Whats the consensus on CS9 being rested with Munster out......my feeling is he will play but maybe get an early rest so he can pull the wings off a few flies on the bench.

    CS9 will play.

The storm rested all their stars in the last round of the season a few years ago. It killed their momentum. Bellamy said back then he would avoid ever doing that again, thays why he started resting players a few weeks ahead of finals.

He said in the press conference they want this weeks team to be the one that plays finals. But will likely have to rest Munster through injury.

Is Walters a chance of playing? Or is he out injured

Played for Easts on the weekend. But I would think Croft just comes back in.

I figured Croft would be 1st choice... but I would prefer Walters (for total unselfish reasons)

Maybe Croft is actually injured.. hasn't played in two weeks. Hasn't played Q Cup either.

I assume he's just been 18th man (Bellamy said that Munster almost didn't play on the weekend).

Xerri has been great....not sure my Xerri to Burns trade in rd17 really paid off Very Happy

I would be reasonably comfortable relying on him, looks like you need to make up 132 on first which is not beyond the realms of possibility as he looks to have 6 out vs your 4. Good captain choice and broncos going ballistic you could get there!
