I didn't start with Taumalolo or Cook this year but ended up having both by round 8 or 9 (whenever Lolo came back from injury). Haas will keep doing his thing next year, I don't see why he wouldn't. It's going to be a tough call whether to start with him or not I reckon. A guaranteed 60 every week is hard to pass up.

Haas is not going to shoot up in price. Start without him and bring him in once you've made a bit of cash. He's going to come with a decent premium over other captaincy options like Cook, Lolo, McInnes

I think I'll start with Cook, but will probably look to trade him out over origin.

Well done Pookus, top of Renegades and Rogues, but a lowly 7th in the fanatics.

Yeah I mentioned that a few posts ago. How tight is the Fanatics comp!!
I was tempted to mention it in my WWF-Esque spiel but I thought they would just delete my post for advertising a rival platform. Fanatics are fantasy heavyweights though.

Those that are playing epl would know who Pukki is......well his name is causing embarrassment in Malaysia because the word Pukki in Malaysian means khunt so they don't want to say his name.

I can see myself starting without either of Cook or Smith... certainly won't be considering Liddle with his injury history but I hope he proves me wrong because he's got the talent.

Three hookers? Fainu, Koro and Blayke Brailey...

I'll probably start with Haas as overpriced as he will be. Paying extra for the most reliable captain option.

Similar to the sheep thread, but specifically for people's teams what are people's best trades, worst trades, biggest regret, player you didn't pick but you wish you did, lesson to learn for next season

Bit harder to tell now with the trade history gone but I'd say mine are:

Worst trade: Young to Dearden - a whopping 0 point return

Best trade: Obviously Haas but I had to sacrifice Sivo at the time who went on a scoring run, so end of season Ma'u and getting Bateman relatively early were worthwhile

Biggest regret: In R14, traded out Garrick and had Lomax as WFB cover. Lomax gets injured and leaves me with 16 as I couldn't reverse trade and cost me 2 more trades during and after Origin period

Player I wish I selected: KBrom early season, Tevaga late season

Lesson to learn: Save some trades for end of year carnage

Went to have a look at my trade history and of course "You can't make trades, the season is complete" and now I can't see my trade history.

Shit why would they get rid of trade history so fast?

I started a spreadsheet last week so have the trades but was hoping to get some extra info out.

You can still see your team from each round so you can get the info by manually going through it all but they used to have your trades for each round listed in the trades section which no now longer exists.

No forward planning at all. A+

I started replying but it was becoming an essay, which would be titled “worst trades by the worst player here, by robelgordo”.

    So maybe later.

Am thinking of keeping a log next season like Verbal, MTB and booze, but without the being great at NRL fantasy part.
