I heard the FB pages were approached similar to yourself, don't really do insta so don't know if that's where it started.

They clearly went for the josh McGuire got away with it and I should too. Similar basis of arguement, looked bad, player has history, “affected” player not affected, “affected” player said he didn’t feel any contact.

I think if the media doesn’t blow up, he gets 2 weeks max.

Just feeds into the argument that the mrc is incompetent. I’d be happier to see McGuire’s grading change in retrospect over young’s been reduced though. Those things look bad, generally because they are. Wether it is a gouge, your hands shouldn’t be on the face of another player.

I re-watched that Young incident closely, and I honestly don't think he intentionally tried to eye gouge. He did get himself in a very dumb situation though.

The last couple of games Pompey played ctr & I thought he looked very good at ctr & he scored a try in each of the last 2 games. M. Harper looked very solid as well at ctr in the last game for the Bulldogs especially his defense. Those 2 could be good to start with if they start.
