Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 85
If I compare the real life Broncos to a fantasy team scenario you would conclude that the team is too imbalanced. You've spent most of you cap on top player assets so you rest of your squad has fillers. In some weeks when your gun players go large you win but if they have an off night you don't. So to afford these expensive players you trade a lot of your mid rangers which end up being poor trades because when you start getting injuries your squad is so thin you have to play players out of position & play individuals they are not experienced enough. The result....you lose 58-0 in the first finals game.

Storm have run very successfully on a similar strategy for years (few elite tier guns and then get value for the rest)
Difference being they are much better coached (although they also would struggle when missing big name players, eg 40-0 GF against Manly without Cam Smith)

I think the problem for the Broncos is you need guns in the spine. As good as Haas and D Fifita are, they aren’t running the team. And if your halves combo is a washed fullback and a backup hooker you are going nowhere.

All true. We relied too heavily on two 19 year olds at the back end of the season, which is just fucking stupid since both are forwards and can't dominate every week if the spine is playing shithouse.

Fair question CD. Bloke is a hipster so not sure. I see it going one of two ways; they either bathe only once a year, or 7 times a day with candles and assorted bath salts and apply skin products each and every time afterwards.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 85
Hi all, looking for a check in for each Fanatics League result if possible please? Both Minor Premiers and Premiers would be great. We will update everyone's location in the off season for bragging rights. So, for example, the mighty L3 was:
Top of the Table-Trajan
GF winner-Al
If you are not sure who the actual Fanatic is associated with the team, then you can post the team name and we can work back from there.
Will link a separate thread in a minute to keep them all in the same spot. Note-the NRL site has now taken the Fantasy link off the main menu now as you view it, but under the same menu as you scroll down it is under "MORE" now. Thanks in advance all

Fuckin' wish I had time to bath seven times a day! Legit need to get some bath salts for these aging muscles though.
Cheers fellas.

Strangely enough this is reminiscent of the party at mine on Saturday night.

The Broncos players, well 6 of them (Gillett, Macca, Haas, D. Fifita, Oates & Milford) being naughty boys the night before the Eels game. It didn't seem to affect Haas because he's a beast but the other 5 had pretty ordinary games.
