Never thought I'd read this from you mate.  Personally, I'd like them to win this weekend.  Yes they have done well to get one game out from the GF but we have been far from convincing the whole second half of the year.  It's disappointing we are now just looked at as a roadblock for Canberra instead of a genuine contender.  Hopefully the team have some belief they can beat Canberra but if their own fans are conceeding defeat than that's not a great sign for them.
Of course I want to win but I’m proud of the boys and the Raiders will be very tough especially being rested will help them in the second half of the game, their backs make lots of metres and Papalii will be in beast mode. If we complete at 85percent minimum we have a chance, completing at 66 and 74 percent like we have last two games won’t cut it.

I want everyone to say we are gone and that’s what’s happening, get on Raiders 13 plus means less pressure on us, under the radar is just what Bennett would love. Cmon Wayne to time to weave some magic!

And go you Storm on Saturday Night!

On a related note to the Zinger Pie

I tried the new Pringles flavour Chicken Schnitty.

On the plus side, they do a good job of replicating the flavour of a Schnitty into biscuit form

On the downside, I realised that Schnitty is not a flavour I particularly want in biscuit form. There's a reason why some flavours are classics

Not sure any team in the final four can be under the radar.

I put Rabbits in the same class as Storm and Roosters early in the season, with Raiders maybe a distant 4th if they could maintain.

Rabbits just haven't been very convincing since the origin break though. Only a few glimpses here and there of a believable contender.

Raiders have maintained all year and would be worthy champs to me if they can pull it off.

Storm vs. Roosters has come a week earlier than I expected. Been a casual Storm fan since their inception, so ultimately hoping they win the whole thing, but if it's not to be, hopefully it's the Raiders toppling them.

Have no interest in Roosters vs. Rabbits. Hopefully Teddy has a good game or something, the rest can get fucked Laughing Muzza's alright.

Israel Folau is going to play for Tonga with his brother in the Pacific Cup coming up. So I wonder what nrl club he'll be at next year.

Like 10 mins after the original post, there was another post that that the RLIF is set to veto his return

He's blocked from the actual NRL and was only originally allowed to play in the Tonga test matches because they're run by the RLIF, but was since vetoed (and not the World 9's tournament because it's run by the NRL)

Also who's to say he's better than someone that's had a stellar year as he's been out of the game for basically 6 or 7 years - they have Staggs, Kata and Michael Jennings that can play CTR (with Robert Jennings & Hurrell as backup - unsure how good Hurrell is now with him being in SL)

Anyone else doing the Supercoach - Racing thing? I am finding it really hard to field 10 horses for R1.

There's been talk about the mechanics of banking the profit and you then have a bigger bankroll for round 2 and with unlimited trades you basically pick a new stable. Go back a few pages, it was only a week or 2 ago.

I've looked into it and as NW said, you pick a new stable every week so don't pick your stable yet until tomorrow when Saturday's fields come out to make sure every horse in your stable is running on the weekend to gain maximum points.

Yeah I understand how it all works and what not and how you get a new stable each round, etc. was more saying looking at the current fields for R1 it is hard to find 10 horses under the cap. If you can do leagues someone set it up and I'll join ya

The Golden Rose field has been finalised. Nominations are in for the Underwood Stakes and all races at Caulfield but the field hasn't been finalised yet.

Quite hard to figure out a team this week for finals week 3 - especially with unknown variable of Friend and Verrills, have a feeling Friend displaces Verrills but Verrills will remain on bench

Eventually found a team though that just fits under 5000k cap

Also Friend & Verrills conundrum makes me wonder about next year as well, spending too much time fiddling with my first 2020 team draft (though I like the look of it)
