Superleague stats is a night mare, especially around not listing games played

Rugby league project says Williams played 32 Super League games and 1 Challenge Cup game in 2019, butthey also think he scored 15 tries, but www.superleague.co.uk/stats thinks he scored 14
So trying to match things up is impossible.

WIlliams in 2019 scored more total points (1402) than Bateman in 2018 (1380) , but played an extra 5/6 games.

Best guess based on those stats is an average for Williams of around 44 compared to 51 for Bateman, but super league stats doesn't include kick metres, so Williams would actually have scored more than that
He made 107 'attacking kicks' last year

Best guess is that Williams will be priced a little less than Bateman was, and given he is unlikely to score NRL tries at the same rate that he got super league ones, I am going to put him firmly in the do not touch basket.

I'm sure they'll price him ackwardly around 40 odd fantasy points, if he get's priced at an avg 35fp I might get tempted. There are some better options available at HLF for cheaper. (Brimson, Drinkwater, Wakeham, Crossland, Luai)
Also the Raiders don't play rd12

Yeah, he had 2nd year syndrome last year and he didn't produce much. That's why he will be very popular around here, move to fb and cheap

    OMG IT IS STARTING!!!!

Carrigan could be a cheap bench option. Seems he will get a bigger role off the bench this year playing in the middle.

I think it was more just being on the wing. He will still kick goals as well right?

I know that - sorry just about $40,000 more than the indicative prices based on averages. See page 1 and follow link. Seems failhub just pick and choose a player and increase or decrease player prices at will.

I think so, I mean you want to put your best foot forward, you want to start strong. Might as well start with the best most popular financially viable most likely team to win the NRL Premiership this year. Then as the lists fizzle out towards the end with the worst team in the league Titans Tigers Rabbitohs, they can rejuvenate fantasy hype Fantasy opening day.

Great that player pricing has started to come out but do we need to guess positions?

There is some sort of formula at work - just because we don't know what it is doesn't mean it isn't there. You can't get upset at their pricing if it doesn't match the prediction of some random guy on the internet

If anything the worst prices in fantasy are the ones that they don't manually interfere with (chief culprit being random guys being price super high for playing 1 game the year before and scoring well)

That said, had a bit of a look to work out what the ownership/other effect is on pricing.
Looks like Jack Bird has been given a larger than expected discount for playing less than 10 games. And Isaako has been given a price bump for some reason.

So Haas, Fifita, Croft all a bit cheaper than predicted.

However Isaako costing a little more than predicted.

Haas and Fifita will be in my team, Isaako, Croft and Carrigan on my watch list.

Hmmm do they factor in 2018 scores at FB for Isaako
