He made a name for himself at fullback in 2017, I believe in the QLD Cup and was named Fullback of the Year before being a regular in the Broncos in 2018 on the wing.

One other thing to note after watching most of the Broncos games, is the oppositions insatial desire to kick to Cory Oates wing on as many occasions as they can. This in turn has dramatically lowered Isaakos kick return metres and of course the valuable TB points.

This guys is one of my first picked, simply due to the positional change and what seems to be a better attacking Broncos set up this year than last. Don't forget more tries means more kicks at goals too.

    Just my 2c!

    This is good intel, cheers.

I tried to find his 2017 QLD cup stats but of course his profile page is a 404 error. But he led run metres by miles so has potential. But I think for him to be worthwhile at his current price he’s got to average low 40s, which is getting into top 5-6 FBs, borderline keeper range. Anything less isn’t make enough cash? So for that to happen you’d have Teddy, Ponga, RTS, Turbo... then it would probably be CNK and Isaako? It’s a big ask.

First crack with the real numbers and positions, $79k remaining, assuming they get the roles as anticipated:

    Watson Mann
    Mbye Burns
    Papenhuyzen Brimson Isaako

@ Booze, how did you find it last season with running so many hookers, while also trying to cover for injuries in each position, was it difficult to balance?

Wonder if he still gets a 60 minute role, Tevaga style... Comes on at 20 mins in, plays lock, then at 60 mins plays hooker. Given he was a top 3 player for them last season when playing at hooker, while they will want his versatility, they will also want him on the field as much as possible.

Any Newcastle fans know if Starford Toa could be a bolter for first grade start round 1? Averaged 59 in 4 games in Canterbury Cup last season, looks the goods on field.

A right edge featuring Benji, 2 x Leiluas, and a Nofo is some real rocks and diamonds stuff. Should be entertaining

Yeah, I am too. I remember I think 2 years ago, was all but starting with him until he was dropped when team lists came out. The back half of last year he looked back to his best.

Looks nice mate if Watson does get a significant role. He should be on the field for 80 IMO.
