Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 2
I think he will be doing all the long kicking pretty much, I just think he’s gonna step up and he’s apart of that leadership group too, I think he will also take the line on and I just reckon he’s gonna be more involved than what he was down in Melbourne and I think he will have better line break and try assists stats etc...Mulvy wrote:
Tell me about Croft. What do you see happening there?
I think he can average high 40’s.
He will be a POD option I reckon and I think I’m willing to take the punt.
The other guy I’m looking at besides him would be Flanagan, I also see some upside in him kicking goals at Rorters and his kick metres will go up and he should score more than one try and have slightly improved stats in regards to try assists etc too....

2019 - Round 16: 64 points (season high)

2018 - Round 17: 70 points (season high)
2018 - Round 18: 60 points
It's only a sample size, but it shows what he can do when he has more control of the game.
Wasn't there talk of Croft taking a leading role?
I won't be starting with Croft in my team, but I can see him doing a Mitch Moses (after Norman left, going from a season average of 37 in 2018 to an avg of 54 in 2019)
I think the bigger inhibitor to Croft's scores was Cam Smith, rather than Munster. I don't think McCullough (or Turpin) + Milford will exert the same control over playmaking and allow Croft to do hi sstuff.
Not sure if I'll start with him or not but he is definitely under consideration

I’m hearing Arrow is now staying put with Titans for 2020, Souths are looking at NRL forward packs and who we can somehow get one or two for 2020, who that is I’m not sure but I do know that it sounds like it’s gonna be good for the fantasy prospects of Knight

On the Souths forward pack. Knight, Su'a and Lowe are all tempting, and a lot of people will be looking at Cook too. How many from one team are people happy starting with.
Assuming they both end up starting, I think I'm likely to get both Lowe and Su'a.

I think you are being rather naive in your confidence. Whilst Ken had the rapid hurricane kick and flaming shoryuken at his disposal, Ryu’s Hadoken is undoubtedly the stronger. And let’s all be honest with ourselves for a moment and admit that the Wave motion fist combined with the Satsui no Hado make Ryu the clear winner...

Not to mention Ryu's 2 player/alternative coloured sprite was bad ass compared to Ken's

Definitely agree with this point here. I believe Smith not only took away the play-making off Croft, it also killed his confidence to exert himself when he had opportunities in games with Smith.
I definitely see upside to Croft. It's hard to see whether he was brought in to allow Milford go back to his natural running game or whether Milf will just take most of the responsibility like he did last season. I'm leaning towards the former. I think most people are wary because he's burnt people the last two seasons. I don't see that happening this time. Not sure I can fit him in with a gun half though.

Sironen or Koloamatangi could come of the bench though meaning Su’a comes off after 55-60mins.Milchy wrote:

Those of us picking Su'a are doing so with the expectation his minutes will be somewhere around 60. Having an 80 minute hooker leaves South a spare interchange to use on the backrow, it's expected Su'a will be the one to have a break most weeks
